OK, I've looked for threads remotely like this, and haven't found one. If I'm wrong, please accept my appologies. Closest I found was a old lightsaber thread that was locked. I double-checked with Miana Kenobi for permission before starting this thread.

First: I am not soliciting for business.

Now that my hobby table is out and I've had time and room, I've been experimenting with RTV mold-making. The results are pretty good. I made lightsaber emitter shrouds for vader sabers based on a Heiland cast iron piece. I'm debating trying to sell those. I've found a plase online that sells cast iron replicas run $20-25. I figure I can make & sell resin or epoxy ones for $2-$5. Sure, they won't stand up to stage fighting, but they look perfectly alright as a decorative prop and with that kind of price difference...

So, with all that, would anyone actually buy such an item?
Is there already a business I'm not aware of doing the same thing?
    Does the price seem fair?
I'm not asking them to place orders (at least, not yet)--just trying to find out if there would even be a market.
I can post some pictures if that would help.

    Anyone?

Hi Koohii, I recommend that you go here, read a lot, read some more... and then read it all again... then join up and post your question there. You'll get better results to lightsaber prop questions there then you will here. I hope that helps.

    That's quite a site.

Here are some pics of my work. Which ones are original, and which are the resin casts? (OK, the green and pink ones are obvious.

Some are displayed on the top of my Heiland 5-cell "wookie saber."

    Anyone?

Orignal and copy (or is it 'copy and original'?), side by side.

OK, I don't know why those 5 images aren't loading, or why a space appears in the posted version but not in the 'edit message' board. I've tried all the logical ideas, including copying a image text that did work and changing the number, but it isn't responding. Sorry.
