X-wing Round Robin

I've been thinking about creating a first person Round Robin, post NJO, based loosely on the X-wing books. The idea is that after the Vong threat ends Face Loran has to recruit more members for Wraith Squadron, which is back under the control of Star Fighter Command. If you want to join just say yes and we can plan it.

I'd definitely be interested, though I don't think I could devote a lot of time before the middle of May. I'd still love to help out, though, if it's not time-sensitive.

 

Yeah, I'll be busy also in mid-may, and no there isn't a time stamp on it. If you can't be in it for a while then you can just not post.

No, at the end of the NJO many of the NR squadrons and intel teams are destroyed, the idea I had was for this to be a first person with us being the new recruits for Wraith Squadron which is returned to the control of Starfighter Command.

Screwup: 'Assualted' a superior officer for suggesting that he was a Vong. 3 charges of Deriliction of duty, aka drunk while flying. And refused to wear a dress uniform when in the Senate chambers.

One: She's got a record of being insubordinate and extremely outspoken on several occasions.
Two: She's also been put on warning (or whatever you call it) for fighting with other pilots.
Three: Got another warning for setting off an explosive to scare her roomate.


Physical Discreption: gray eyes, about 5'5, her hair is naturally blonde with occasional hints of red, but she's always changing the color. Currently, it's black with a bright red streak on the right side.

Personality: She grew up around smugglers so she's got a lot of smugglerish mannerism meaning the curses etc. She's extremely blunt and can sometimes be sarcastic to the point of stupidity. She's got a very "Life isn't fair so let's just blow up the galaxy" point of view. (Yes, she's explosion obsessed)

 

Okay, while we're waiting for the others, does anyone have nay plot ideas or anything? Are teh Wraiths still going to be from the "screwups" or are we trying to get some top notch pilots with good toehr skills?

I like the idea of the 'screwups' though with Elassar it seemed they were trying to get away from that image. Actually I have another thing to add to the bio. Add in their screw-up.

 

Name: Aleria 'Twitch' Dentar

Sex: Female

Age: 19.5

Homeworld: Commenor

Physical Discreption: Ria has short cropped white-blonde hair, standing tall at 5'9, right eye is ice blue, left eye is golden brown. She has a tattoo encircling her upper right arm, and she has a nervous twitch brought on by the presence of superior or commanding officers.

Personality: Extremely short tempered computer specialist with a wicked sense of humor coupled with sarcasm and cynicism and a strong sense of revenge. Her skills with slicing and hacking into secure systems is what landed her one last shot with the Wraiths. The two mottos she bases her life on are "Payback's a witch." and "No regrets."

Screw-up: Twitch's been convicted of tagging one too many commanders and sqaudmates with homebrewed viruses, reprogramming different items and continually hacking into their systems for blackmail and dirt when angered. It wasn't that she couldn't cover her tracks - she wanted them to know who did it - at least, most of the time. You can throw a few counts of insubordination in there as well. Hey, a girl's got to keep herself occupied somehow.

Personality: competitive to the extreme, and only speaks in questions (due to another on-going competition)

Screwup: concerned more with competitions than anything else and drives commanders insane with his refusal to speak in statement form.

As for plot idea... Can start with squadron being formed, have squadron sent to "show the flag" on worlds rebuilding after the war, have Wraiths itching to DO something so they get into mischief such as determining that since no one ever punished the Peace Brigaders then it is their job to do it so they hunt them down when they can do it without their superiors knowing about it...

or something like that.

BTW, who is the commander of the squadron? Please not Wedge. As much as I enjoy his character, he needs a break.

Hmm, well we'd probably have Face incharge right? He is Wraith Leader after all.

And do we want to just have a few of the Wraiths in it and all? lIke maybe just Face, Kell, Piggy, and maybe one other?

I like your plot idea though Kettch! Just and idea, how about everyone works on writing scence with the pilot interview? Then we can share and compare and go from there! (no rhyme intended )

Physical Discreption: She's a cream furred wookiee with ruset paws. Not considered beautiful on Kashyyyk because her coloring doesnt blend very well with the native veggitation. She's also short for her species, only 1. meters

Personality: Shy because she was teased about her height and colorings, but don't push to far or she might hurt you. A lot.

Screwup: Got kicked out of the Wookiee engeineers acadamy for cheating.

Homeworld: Falleen

Physical Discreption: 1.79 metres tall with skin that changes colour depending on mood. A scar runs the full length of his left arm. Well groomed - as all Falleen feel they must be - with an impeccable sense of style (Hates the idea of a bright orange flight suit).

Personality: Supremely aware of himself, Xash Baxx is a proud Falleen of no particularly royal lineage. He is quick to make sure he is judged on his own achievements and failures only. Completely unwarranted sense of own superiority, and a sometimes hurtful sense of humour. A stately understanding of dignified martial arts and weaponry.

Screwup: First squadron - Refusal to wear appropriate attire during training and escort missions on repeated occasions. Struck CO unconscious when he threatened to replace his entire wardrobe with bright orange flight suits.
Second Squadron - Made dangerous modifications to all 12 X-wing cockpits to create space for personal hygeine facilities, resulting in several avoidable ejections.
Third squadron - On no less that seven occassions delayed emergency action drills by up to three minutes as he attempted to take a shower before reporting for duty.

 

Kettch,my NJO hating friend, I like dat idea. And same with that Targeter, why don't we write 'em up and then talk about 'em and other stuff, and then decide on a title.
