    Fantastic full-color footage filmed in WW2, US Navy flight training. There are some beautiful early-model Corsairs, the kind the real Black Sheep flew in combat with Pappy Boyington.

    Those F4U1-A's? Cockpit looks a bit different. I have to admit I love the early war look of the P-51B/C and P-47C. Visibility sucks without the bubble canopy but they look wayyy better.

    That goes double for the Spitfire. It just looks wrong to see a bubble canopy on a Spit.

    ‘Flying Farmer’ Charles ‘Charlie’ Kulp was 96 - AOPA

    The comedy routine is older and cornier than 'Who's on first?' but the flying is amazing. To make an airplane act like that and not damage it or hurt himself took some serious stick-and-rudder skills. It's really impressive piloting.
