Vancouver YES! We got winter 2010!!

..I don't know if I'll be saying the same thing in seven years but I'm caught up in the excitement now! ;D

 

Congrats Vancouver! Even though this means that Toronto won't get the Olympics for about 50 years now it is great the the Games are going to be in Canada, and really i can't think of a better city to host it!

 

Congrats from one Olympic city to another.

I remember I was sitting in class in Grade 3 when it was announced that Calgary was going to host the 88 games...and I was in Grade 9 when we actually had them.

It was a blast! Something I'll never forget.

Vancouver/Whistler should do a great job as hosts.

As an added bonus, this means that Toronto won't get the Olympics for about 50 years now.

aww..yeah..that kinda sucks, but it probably wouldn't have got it if the sars scare continues..and i live in vancouver, so.

 

my dad works in construction in toronto, and he's always talked about having his company do a bunch of work for the olympics, then retiring, so while it's really cool that vancouver got the olympics, it's also a little sad.

Poor Toronto, with the SARS infestation I doubt the IOC would consider them for a long time.

 

My dad'll probably be writing the music, he did Calgary after all.
