Niagara, ON YJN Christmas Party this year???

Hey Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has given any thought to having our YJN Christmas party.
I for one, would like to have one, and to help with the planning.
Any ideas?
Some people need to book time off weeks in advance this time of year.

I think Chris and Debbies was and still is the biggest and best place no?

Now I COULD also ask my landlady if we can use the big room here

 

I'd love to come, especially since I missed it last year!

Debby and I got together and decided that the two of us can "co-organize" the Christmas party. (That means we can blame each other if things go wrong..LOL )

As far as location, Deb is looking into getting a Masonic hall that her dad may have access to, but other offers are also welcome. Chris and Deb's place will not be available this year as they are busy making preparations for the new addition!

So, date, location, and activities have not been set yet. Do we want to have the (3 x $2) gift exchange games we have done other years? Movies? Board games? Video games? Skating? Tobogganing? (pending snow) Type of food? So talk it up everyone, and post your ideas here!!

 

I like the gift idea like last year.

Movie? All I can think of is the OT on DVD

Board games - sure

Video games - multiplayer games are always fun.

Skating - can't

Toboganning - as long as there is Hot Chocolate waiting after that and the obligatory snowball fight

I am open to all food types.

If you need any help (that can be done long distance) just give me a shout.

edit: Oh yes the date would determine if I can make it also

I can't commit to anything until the date is set.

Assuming I can go I am certainly willing to bring food and drinks etc.

 

Just so you know guys, I did get permission to use the large room here if we need it or if something comes up that we cannot use Dana's place

 

I will be posting an Offical thread sometime in the next few days hopefully, so that we can start to get some of the details worked out

 

Only 21 days left... better be quick!... oh wait...

YJN Christmas Party- This year the party will be held at the Price Family?s house, in January 8th. Time: TBA Please bring three $2.00 gifts for the yearly game that everybody seems to love. (Make sure that you wrap you gifts in some way)

Seems to be farther along then was posted... and into next year... no a bad idea really...
