    Well, the old thread is 6 pages pack and locked, so I thought I should revive it. Buffalo has one, and it is pretty useful and interesting thread.

    So use this thread to post pictures of your costume progress, ask for help, discuss techniques, etc.

    I just finished my ne Boba Fett shoulder bells today, and I am quite happy with them!

    Nice!!!! They look great.

    Other than a few minor mods, ours are the same. Hubby might be able to start machining hilts in the near future. Other than that, no real news on ours.

    Just picked up a new jumpsuit and some gloves today. I have grown out of my old one, which is starting to fall apart. Of course they will be dyed and modified to look correct.
    [image=http://200.72.163.179/cdref/tdh/img/jfj_jumpsuit1.jpg] [image=http://200.72.163.179/cdref/tdh/img/jfj_jumpsuit2.jpg]

    [image=http://200.72.163.179/cdref/tdh/img/jfj_gloves1.jpg] [image=http://200.72.163.179/cdref/tdh/img/jfj_gloves2.jpg]

    Here is how it's going to have to look:
    [image=http://200.72.163.179/cdref/tdh/img/jfj_jumpsuit4.jpg]

    Just a heads up, anyone who is looking for any sort of jumpsuit, pants, or jackets (mainly work clothes) for costume, you should definitely check out Johnny Rags. It's a used work/industrial clothing store, and they have great stuff for dirt cheap.
    The jumpuits are $12-15, and the gloves I got were $0.74
    They have orange jumpuits that are PERFECT for an X-Wing pilot. Although they are used, they are not bad at all, seeing as this store is also an industrial cleaning place.

    Hey Graeme,
    did they have any brown ones...Large big enough to fit that Oaf who goes to Niagara College in Welleand.

    *Can almost taste his ghostbusters Uniform*

    Also I wanted to ask Laurie if she see this taht If I can find the appropriate material and purchase it would she be willing to help out with my Jedi costume. It won't be ready for a while because I don't want to wear it until it is completed. I would also like to know what exactly she needs. I am willing to supply everything but I am a complete moron when it comes to sewing and costuming.

    James, I didn't actually check, but they do have a lot of colours, but if they don't have the exact one you can always find one similar and dye it.
    They have sizes 36 to something like 50-something.
    I'm going to be going back in a couple days, so I'll check then.

    Hey Graeme...if you need some dye, I think Brian (Stemmi) has his jumpsuitall set. I can ask him where he got it.

    by the way...that deck looks like it could use some stain! ( Inside joke..PM me and I can fill you in)

    Thanks dude that would be very much appreciated. From the looks of it the one you got is the perfect design I just need it in a different colour. Either tanish brown or black (from the sequal).

    More work on my costume, this time my helmet.
    After discussion with some people on [link=http://tdh.prop-planet.com/]The Dented Helmet[/link], the actual colours used on the original ESB helmet have been confirmed. So far I've done the top, cheeks, and back of the helmet:

    I guess I'm the only one ever working on their costume :p

    I finished modifying my new jumpsuit, and I just dyed it. It's drying right now.

    My rope belt has also been re-dyed to make it darker.

    Finally, I just finished dying my gloves, and there will just be a little sewing to be done to them.

    It's been a long day...

    Photos coming tomorrow.

    I sadly can't see it! :_|

    I'm awake at the momment, when I really should be asleep (being sick and all). I'm just worried about my Eowyn Costume. I'm getting it back on Monday from the tailers. Not sure if I completly trust the tailer I sent it to. So at the momment I'm staying up, worrying about the costume, and browsing LotR costume sites.

    I suppose I'll keep you guys posted on that costume. Any ideas on what shoes I should use?
