NIce helmet! Glad to see it works well. You using it for part of your Co-op?
I'm so happy I can barely sit still:
(That's 2 sets of Boba Fett armour + 1 jetpack)
When'd you get it?
Just arrived this afternoon.
Yay! Timmy is going to be a mandalorian soon!
Now I'm excited to see it finished. Looks great... well, for not having paint
Well its still in the works but I have my first costume and showed it off at the Toronto Halloween party.
This is my Samwise costume.
Good idea James, so many new costumes we had this weekend and not everyone got to see!
Me = Indiana Jones
Now to finish Bespin Han before the parade.
Bespin Han eh?
How are you going to make yourself look so plasticy?
The seam in the neck will be tricky as well.
*pulls out knife*
Hold still Nick.
So I know I'm not YJN yet I still just finished my first costume
Tessa = Eowyn
For the parade I'm either going to do Hoth Leia (simple and warm) or get the Corset Costume, add a fur thing to it... and also use it as a semi dress >.<
Yet another update by me!
This time...it's my new and improved (for the 3rd time) ESB CAPE!
Took me less than an hour to make (not including time it took to dry after I dyed it)
Jetpack and armour updates coming soon...only 4 days till Montreal SFX!!!
Nice, better than teh seperate pieces I saw earlier
Love the face in the first pic...is that what Boba expression really is?
The dog is so adorable. Oh... yes, nice cape
Way to go...You've done a great job...except....well what can I say..it's Boba Fett circa ESB.
I'm parting together my Fett costume now as Fett circa ROTJ.
My Boba Fett Armor is better than your Boba Fett armor...naw..naw..naw..naw..naw.
seriously though..good job.
hahaha, not for much longer my friend, I just finished my jetpack and now I gotta start on assembling my new plastic armour. How sweet it is to have non-carboard / metal armour!
I wish i had a digital camera right now...because i am parading around my apartment with my jedi costume on...I have everything now minus the boots and some accesories here and there...like pouches, pellets, covertech clip, ponytail, braid etc. but for the most part my costume is complete.
Behold Padawan Jymm Roquand....
Special Thanx to Justin and Janet for the peices, and Aly and Kevin for the transportation.
That costume looks great Sam. I'll be sure to get photos on Sunday.
I'm in the process of picking up another Sandtrooper outfit(white paldron) and a Stormtrooper outfit.
And just landed my 2 Tusken Costumes...they look very sweet.
I also have my Boba Fett helmet (circa ROTJ) coming in this week..cause we all know that Return Boba is better than Empire Boba
BOO YAA!!! Just got my Boba Fett helmet in....molded from fiberglass...with a kick butt ROTJ paint scheme....I am in the process now of get the servos to have the range finder be able to move up and down...because like stated in other posts the next fan film I'm working on will show more of what Boba can do.
Just snagged me some "real" biker scout armour (not the stuff I use on my paintball field) Looks to be good quality stuff.
come on people...what happen to the YJN prop/costume people out there?? I mean just look at the icons, people..It looks like I'm starting my own clone army by being the only one posting.
p.s- Found a really killer Ewok headdress at IKEA the other day...just ask Chris and Deb
Gee Jerry, you are turning into an entire 501st squad yourself!
And in response regarding the costuming, I guess I can post an update.
I have most of the material I need for my new Jedi costume. I was never very happy that my costume is using mostly found (bought) items.
I have 9 metres of 100% wool for a new robe (it was 2/3rds off so I only paid the equivalent of 3 metres!)
I have raw silk noile and 100% bemberg lining for my outer tunic. I want it to be fully lined, going for a Mace Windu style of length/cut.
I'm going to make a less than traditional style of inner tunic. Its still canon, I can name 2 major characters who have a similar tunic, but I have yet to find the material for it. It needs to be a bit stiffer for my purposes so I'm thinking linen. I might go for another style of silk as well. What I will have to do is go to a larger city to give myself a wider choice of fabrics though.
At the rate its going I expect to have the new black Jedi costume done in the spring. In time for any summer costumed events and conventions.
