Niagara, ON YJN Events coming up....leaders needed.

We have a busy couple of months coming up. Since we have so much to do John and I are needing to hand out some of the events for people to concentrate on, or else they will not happen.
If you want to take the lead on any of the below events, please let John or I know.

Women's Place Open House - Tuesday, October 29

IMAX Weekend - Thursday, October 31 - Sunday, November 3rd

AOTC DVD Release - Tuesday, November 12

Thorold Santa Claus Parade - ?

Women?s Place Playhouse Raffle - ?

 

I can head up the Thorold Santa Claus Parade, as my place will be the home base anyways.

I'm willing to help run the other activities too, just not sure what would be involved.

 

Chris, my schedule has eased up a bit after midterms-as an adult you know you can count on me for stuff-although I believe I am going home the 2nd weekend in Nov, any of the other times you can divvy up-I could do Blockbuster if it's before 5-just let me know what you need people for at the end and I'll accomodate it

 

Laurie...you got the parade.
Andrew C....you have the DVD release.

Make your contacts and find out al te information and relay it back to John and I.

We do need others to help them out. Team up a few people for each.

Well... I'm up for DVD release, the parade, and working at the woman's place raffle. Who ever is in charge... just let me know what needed to be done. Oh... Andrew... the Blockbuster you guys were at for the last one has asked if YJN will be coming back... I guess they had fun

 

Well, I can for sure help you out with everything (except Imax due to reasons). If you would like me as a leader, and you think I can be, I will gladly take on that role. Else, I will gladly be a volunteer.

 

Once again I am free for each and everything. Do with me as you will I can man the Women's place raffle table as much as possible, outside of school hours.

 

My schedule for the year is still up in the air, especially Dec, but let me know what I can do. For those who are in charge of the events. Later.

Whoah! Good thing I got right on this parade stuff....the deadline for applications is this Wednesday...less than 48 hours from now! [face_shocked]

 

When is the parade? I figure it's a Saturday so I need to talk to my supervisor and put my shifts up to be covered.

 

Thorold Santa Claus Parade is on Saturday, November 30th, at 2:00pm. We will be gathering at my place around noon that day...more to follow....

November 30th is our moving day, and 90% of the club said they would help us move.

 

Anyone know the sing up date for te christmas parade in the falls?
Might work out miuch better.

Andrew has backed out of being the lead man for the DVD release, saying "things...are crazy right now, and I can't deal with the DVD right now".

Mitch - I know you wanted to take the lead. It's yours if you want it. The age thing may be a problem, maybe you and I can go talk to the manager this week. Then after you can take the lead.

 

If they won't let Mitch do it at Blockbuster I can and Mitch can help me

 

I'd love to take this event, so Chris, I'll be calling you and Blockbuster tonight to see what we can do and if my age will be a problem.

Steph, I'll let you go with Mitch. I want to get as many "new" people ads possible to take the lead in planning events.

If that is ok with you Mitch.

 

The only thing I need to know is what hours this is: if during the day fine if after 5 I can't....if it's a span before and after 5 I can work till 5 and have some others come help Mitch in the evening

 

Last time it went all afternoon and evening. I have to work from 3:30-6:30 that day, but I'm available before and after my shift for whatever is needed.

 

I'd suggest 4:00pm - 10:00pm
