FF:SA Yoda's World Tour

Good day to you all! My name is Rachel and I am from the San Diego and Inland Empire fanforces of California, USA.

I am helping Master--Kenobi of Santa Cruz, California, plan a trip for her small fried Interactive Yoda to go around the world. As of right now, our little friend will be going all over the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and possibly to Germany, Japan, Singapore and Mexico. We would like to make this a truly world-wide tour.

We wish to know if Australia would be interested in having Yoda come and visit.

The original planning thread is located here. Please reply there before the end of next week if you are interested!

What the tour consists of:

Each fanforce will have 2 weeks with Yoda. The 2 weeks will start the day Yoda arrives. We ask that in those 2 weeks you take photos of him in "touristy, famous, or just plain cool" locations, and that he is shipped to the next Fanforce before the 2 weeks are up. We will be sending a logbook around with Yoda, and a website is being created.

What I'm now going to need is a contact person. This will be the person whom Yoda is shipped to, will take care of Yoda, be responsible for him (please don't try to do something foolish with him... for example, the Buffalo, NY fanforce wants to send him over Niagra Falls in a small barrel! ), and will be responsible for shipping him off to the next fanforce.

Whomever you appoint as contact person, could you please have them PM me with their name, home address, and email address.

[Thinks of all the places Yoda could go.] We could put him on the Popeye down the Torrens, we could have a photo with him infront of the Rundle Mall-balls, infront of a Barossa Valley vineyard...

How about the giant Lobster? My Brother just came back from Mt Gambier with a good photo infront of that monstrosity.

I'm in! I definitely want a photo with me (in costume) and Yoda ... perhaps up here near the Flinders or the Gulf.

 

think that would be the best idea with the care and treatment of a small yoda May I sugest also a trip to the zoo and a close enounter of some animal if the zoo is willing
something distictly Aussie yoda and a koalia
prehaps preringing telling them what you want and seeing if they can do

 

Ive heard the same sort of thing being done with a stuffed moose head. A bunch of army guys stole their sergeants stuffed moose and mailed it to friends of theirs around the world. At each location they got the recipient to take a photo of the moose next to a famous landmark and they mailed the photo back to the sergeant. Apparrently there were photos from like a dozen different countries and the sergeant was quite !

 

If anyone else has one, we could put a hat with corks (mini) on him.. take a picture & title it "Yoda travels to meet his Aussie cousin".

I get close to emus and roos everyday ... with my car!!
