FF:VIC Yoda's World Tour

Good day to you all! My name is Rachel and I am from the San Diego (You know, that place you accidentally went to on the World Peace Tour ) and Inland Empire fanforces of California, USA.

I am helping Master--Kenobi of Santa Cruz, California, plan a trip for her small fried Interactive Yoda to go around the world. As of right now, our little friend will be going all over the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and possibly to Germany, Japan, Singapore and Mexico. We would like to make this a truly world-wide tour.

We wish to know if Australia would be interested in having Yoda come and visit.

The original planning thread is located here. Please reply there before the end of next week if you are interested!

What the tour consists of:

Each fanforce will have 2 weeks with Yoda. The 2 weeks will start the day Yoda arrives. We ask that in those 2 weeks you take photos of him in "touristy, famous, or just plain cool" locations, and that he is shipped to the next Fanforce before the 2 weeks are up. We will be sending a logbook around with Yoda, and a website is being created.

Hello, and thank you for trying to contact VicFF. Our usual members don't actually talk much together, I personally am slightly suspicious of their actual existence. If you are trying to make a fanfilm and need some gimps, please contact any of the boys. If you're trying to make some sense of the forum, please re-read the part about confusion, praise Huggard in all his glory and then go away and rethink your life. If you wish to make some sort of demand of us, including but not limited to anything to do with us being organised, please wait at the borders and Mixo will come and pick you up in his Ute. Don't bring too many bags, there needs to be room for the two banjo playing 'cousins'.

In short, I don't believe we go in for this kind of funny buggers stuff, whatwhat! Or do we?

What has become of the world, when we are being badgered for not socialising almost exclusively amongst people who we know only by virtue of a shared interest in Lucasian Sci-Fi?

We have many troops in France, I'm busy not being online, Nathan is being a tyrant at other boards as well and Pulsar, well, she's a girl, so is probably doing some icky girl type thing.

What kind of Yoda is this? A plushy? A virtual Yoda? Meh? How do we look after him?

 

Strange. I never got over that idea of socialising with other sci-fi nerds in person.
