Yes, it was the NSC convention. And it will fall within the Midlands 2 weeks, since the London group will not be sending him on until after Monday at the launch of the DVD in London. Once he's attended the launch, TDV will be sending him on up here. He should arrive sometime towards the end of this week with Verity, and come along to the party on the 12th.

Hi Everyone...

Master "K"', owner of our Little Green Master (With a Special Thanks again to Ewan for 'frying" him. Without that wonderous view from Velvet Goldmine..this whole trip never would have happened.)

Ok..hopefully that lightening glitch isn't going to cause this to double post (and yeah, I'm a Jedi..I still write on computers during lightening storms).

Anyways, to repeat...When Master Yoda arrives, please take time to fill out his log-book with lots and lots of pics of yourselves and him at various places that mean a lot to all of you. And no, I'm not opposed to whatever evil thoughts you guys have planned. Just keep him safe. He also has a blue "blankey" that goes with him. This is to keep him safe and warm during his travels. (It also protects him from the evil shipping handlers that want to destroy him during his trip.)

One other thing, I teach a Special Education class from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We are following Yoda's trip ...so a pic of all of you with the Master would also be really appreciated. I'll be setting up a thread on the Santa Cruz (US Pacific Region) FF just for classroom correspondence. They would also like to write a thank you to everyone. We are keeping a journal here..and hopefully I can get the George Lucas Educational Foundation interested. (there does that sound like a bribe?)

Yes, but there will be more people at the party than with us at the NSC. Plus, do not presume to say that Jeremy Bulloch is our VIP when there has been nothing sorted on that side of things, so it would be inappropriate to ask him of that.

 

Of course that's dependent on whether Yoda has actually arrived.

I had an attempted delivery yesterday while I was at work, that is most likely Yoda. I'll pick him up from the post Office Friday afternoon.

 

neither of us dave's will be . it strikes me that there will be more of us as a FF at the nsc than at V's party, so wouldn't the pic be best taken at the event, in front of the table?

 

I was planning on bringing him there anyway

I'm all for a photo at the event. Especially at least one with the Rocket tower in the background outside. The idea is to get a lot of photos at different places around the Midlands area

Hey, how big is this Yoda, seriously, Im off to the states (New York & Florida) at Christmas, if he's not too large he could blag a free ride, the little fecker!! I'd try for a pic of him in front of the Empre State for starters!! LMK!!
