Today I was propositioned by a septaginarian in coles metro - "hop in the basket love, I need someone to clean my flat"

What the? I didn't know what to say so I said 'oh good luck matey, maybe next time"

That I forgot to change out of my secret identity clothes...

When anthropomorphic personifications of abstract concepts post about the mundane goings-on in their lives. It's quite peculiar.

Last night just after I'd messaged the Goob, I swear someone said my name really loudly twice outside my window. Munchkin even asked who was coming over. I checked the door and windows and turned on outside lights and all, all finding no-one trying to get my attention. After a while I convinced myself I'd heard the guy next door wrong or something. Was just VERY WEIRD..and gave me a weird feeling for the rest of the evening. Checked my cupboards before bed, and haven't done that since I was about 14

 

YKW puzzling?

Why people insist on standing in pinch points. I'm sure I've mentioned this before. But why do people find it necessary to stand in the most narrow place in any gien thoroughfare that they can possibly find? Stupid people!!

 

Whats also puzzling, or rather annoying, is the tendency of groups of people in narrow paths (eg supermarket aisles), where the further apart they are standing from eachother the slower they walk, blocking the path.

 

YKW is peculiar?

Even now, I look at a disc (ie DVD) and my first impulse is that it reads from the outside in, in one long track, just like an LP. Even though I know better. Peculiar. How do they get the tracks so tiny????

YKW I maybe shouldve seen a doctor about...

Lasy year, while at work on a saturday, I had a massive headache.....and for about 3 weeks after, I had slurred speech....actually i could barely talk, couldnt form words very well. I just told people i burnt my toungue on hot food. it went away after 3 weeks but it was kinda freaky at the time. didnt think about it again until recently

 

I would've seen a doctor about that...

That's kinda one thing they can't transplant

Go see a doctor Marv. Seriously. Unless - for some bizarre reason - you'r taking oestrogen supplements/medication, which are something I no longer take because of the adverse effects on my existing migraine condition and the unsatisfactory impact on motor neuron functions during an 'episode'.

 

Well I gotta see the doctor about something else in a few weeks i might mention it....it sounds stupid but at the time i didnt think it was that serious, but i guess thats a failing of a lot of guys, not seeking medical attention when its needed

YKW Smells bad?

One of my pockets of my backpack, which someone hid cigarette butts in, who knows how long ago, probably a few weeks maybe. NOTHING will get that out.

 

From someone who is notorious for not seeing a doctor, Marv, that is definitely something I would have worried enough about to actually query a GP about. If you aren't able to speak properly, that's a red flag screaming something is wrong. You should have gotten your posterior to a doctor as soon as the problem there was recognised.

 

YKW Strange:

I've one of those polystyrene hamburger cases that my lunch came in. On the top of it it has stamped "I'm CFC Free" with a huge WINKING smilie. Why not a normal smilie, wouldn't it fit the "occassion" better?

 

I agree. If it's going to be winking at you, it should at least read "I'll still be here when your race is extinct, pathetic human"
