I didn't have time to post you know fall is coming. So here's a different one.

You know fall is here when it goes from hot to cold over and over.

And when Minot ND gets 8" of snow overnight... and it's still snowing up there!
That's only like 7 hours away from me!

Woa! I wouldn't mind snow now.
As long as it didn't stick to the roads.

When they keep saying you're going to wake up to snow.
    Then you don't.

It was like 80+ here not even 2 days ago! And tonight it is suppose to get down to 32 tonight!

I like winter, but yet I don't. I love walking around in the evenings after a fresh snow and it's all quiet and all you hear is the snow crunching beneath your boots. I HATE driving! The ice, the white-outs, the morons who have lived here 20 years and still get suprized when it snows!

But the fall colors are pretty. :)

Wait they don't go out for more then five minutes in the summer.

SORRY --- DOGS . who ever said pitbulls are tough is a liar.
its to hot out in the summer must lay by the cooler
too cold in the winter must lay by the heater.

You know it's fall in SOUTHERN CO when you have to wear a jacket outside but run the air conditioner in the car because of the sun.

Also, the taratulas start their walk-about at the beginning of fall.

I could NOT handle taratulas, at least in the wild. :)

I love the crispness in the air and you can feel it in your lungs. So refreshing.

Yes. That tingling feeling is actually the lining of your lungs constricting in PAIN from the sudden rush of cold air.

I'll have to take Isabel out one of these next couple of nights to show her the migrating tarantulas. It's really cool -- you've got the nice prairie landscape with thousands of hand-sized dots travelling across the ground.

Actually, Nna, I prefer to see them in the wild. The are really neat because if you get out of the car and walk up to one, he is like a man on a mission - he will ignore you and go around you if you step in front of him but he continues on his set path. They are quite neat to see walking like that. In a cage they just curl up and meditate. Oh, but if you do cage one and you give him sticks and leaves, he will organize them. If you go and mess them all up by the next day they are all neatly organized again.

    :D

    Dude! I wanna see Tarantulas!

You know fall is here in Colorado when it snows so much a tree falls on part of your roof. And the day before it was 80 degrees. LOL

Ok, so that's a little late. lol

We got really big spiders out where we live.
I'm not even sure what kind they are, and no one else does either.

Get a hockey stick and practice your slapshots with them!!! I hate spiders, as the few who left at the BBQ back in July can attest too. [face_whistling] That snow on Sunday took me by surprise, took me 3 hours to get back from Pueblo, and the crazy thing was, I drove better in that crap than most everybody else, including some idiot in a Toyota Tundra 4X4 doing 10 mph. I passed him doing 30!!! That snow was nothing!!! Go to the Sierra's during full blown blizzard!!!

OMG! That was so funny! I didn't know you could scream like a little girl! ROTFLOL!!!! [face_laugh]

You know it's fall here when you have 35 degrees one day and rain and wind, and the next day it's like 70 out. Nice warm weather... and the leaves are orange. [face_plain]
