You Know Winter is Here

I have a odd quwstion, Why is it that each time it snows my house losses power? I am not joking about this.

I think that would best asked to the power company. But if the problem is in you place I say get it checked out.

 

I stepped on a tarantula during a cross-country race in LaJunta once...
Slid about 6 feet on that bugger... (kinda like a 'toon on a banana peel)

Ick...

Also start seeing alot of wolf spiders this time of year (the gray furry ones with brown stripes on thier backs; 2 to 3 inch leg span). Its kinda neat to watch them hunt.

Maybe we should catch some tarantulas and wolfs and turn 'em loose where IB works!

I have the windows in my office open and the smell of the leaves is coming in. It is quite lovely.

 

when you start drinking hot coco .

You know it's fall when you work the day shift,
and have to get up early just to scrape your car.

Likewise, when you work the night shift,
have to bring a jacket so you won't get cold
scrapeing you car.

You know fall is here when you have a spatula from your kitchen in your car to scrape your windows cuz its not cold often enough to make you go and buy a real scraper.

 

You know it's fall when it's almost too cold to properly spray paint outside... and you end up sitting on the can to warm it back up.

When our tree drops all of those big bean pod thingies on the driveway. I think it's a Locust tree or something like that.

 

When our neighbors (yeah, those neighbors) decorate for halloween by placing strobe lights around their house and leaving them on all night so they can keep us awake.

They also took their kids clothes and stuffed them and left all these headless bodies lying all over the place...

 

When daylight savings time happens,
and you now have to turn your car lights on at 5:00.

 

I so want to make a porta-potty joke.
