YKYAFFWW your 2018 New Years' Resolution about exceeding 2017's weekly financial goals fell way short ... but your Fannish Goal of typing fic until your fingers turn to stumps succeeded beyond expectations! Therefore, 2019's Resolution is to keep on keeping on fannishly.

 

YKYAFFWW you curse yourself for having named a character Pyrgopolynices. I mean, you can't even spell that yourself.

 

YKYAFFWW a review arrives from a story you wrote ten years ago and wants to know why you did X in the plot ... and you had better reread that part ... and even then, the reason may elude you!

 

...when you kept an oc out of story because Leia holding a discussion with Leah would have been very confusing. (On that front, I also give you Maria, Mara, and Moira...)

 

...when every time a new OTP or MMM challenge is announced, you SQUEEEEEEEEE and start outlining

 

YKYAFFW you find yourself wondering why are Human skin colours actually still a think in the GFFA and why isn't everybody looking like a member of the "Pardo" race from Brazil, which is basically everything, combined. That, or looking like a Roma person. Minor variations in either case.

 

...When you're constantly thinking of AUs & extensions of fic-gifts and missing scenes of other authors' OCs because they're your OTPs no matter when/how (Bree/Blue)

 

. . . you have one or two or more documents for a fan fic that only has a name and one sentence and you can't remember what the fic was going to be about or who's POV it was going to be from or where you were going from the few words that you jotted down. You can guess some things based on the name you chose and if it's in a folder what you probably had in mind for it but that's about it.

 

@Lady_Misty, or you have really old files with a short list of OC names as a reminder of your plot bunny... for OC's and a plot that you've long forgotten.

 

...when you stop by every few years, start getting all sorts of cute ideas, and even though you try not to make eye contact or give them names, you can't resist taking them home with you, and then realize you only stop by every few years in self-defense.

 

....when chatty new OCs take advantage of the fact that you can't sleep to introduce themselves.

 

AS. IF. The ones you've given us aren't already in our heart-canons! Oh no!

 

...when you are just happy after seeing that a fanfic you've loved years ago is finally getting the promised comtinuation.

 

I have to say I'm in awe of the labor of love I'm seeing in this section. Who needs novels, with all this body of work?
