I agree that Routh certainly looks the part. It amazes me how well he captures the Geeky (But not too geeky) Clark side in all the stills we've seen. I haven't seen him act in anything, so I don't know what to expect there. Has anyone seen him in anything and have some thoughts on his acting? I love the way Singer seems to be intent on making the film feel timeless and classic. The wardrobe is a big hint there. The characters all look as if they stepped out of the 1940's. I guess my only real concern so far is John Ottman's score. I'm not a big fan of his work, and I fear that he will want to put his own stamp on the film and that Williams' music, even the main title/march will, only make a cameo. Even if Ottman writes the best score of his life, how do you top perfection? It'd be like the Star Wars or Indiana Jones sequels without their signature themes and cues.
