Uh, there is no way Iron Man and Firestorm are on the same level as Spider-Man. Spider-Man is streetlevel like Wolverine.

And Captain America does have powers, per se. He's not like Batman or Green Arrow (not sure about Hawkeye), in that he took a super soldier serum back in World War II that gave him heightened core abilities.

And I think Iron Man should fall under the no powers list, because he doesn't have any. His suit has all these special gadgets that allow him to compete with supervillains, which basically is the same thing for Batman.

Anyway, I voted Human With Power. Wolverine and Gambit FTW!

If I got into a detailed list then there would not be enough options for each character level. If I could detail it out then Spiderman might indeed be lower on the scale than Iron Man but higher than Wolverine. This is also not about who can take who in a fight, that is incidental given that if placed face to face and someone yelled "GO!" Wolverine could likely gut Tony Stark in his suit before he knew he moved.

This post is brought to you in bold[/i] for clarity. :)

Anyway, I tend to prefer human level characters with a power or two.

I tend to like the omnipotent ones or the heavy hitters, my favorite characters tend to be cosmic level beings.

He falls short of making the list because he like all other GL's is a stink nugget.:p

    The one Batman has.

Dragon Ball Z characters are also pretty funny, and those are humans (among other species) with power.

Any Green Lantern even close to Hal Jordan's ability would be in Superman's range.

    Heh.

This is what level of power we would want to be ourselves?

If so, anyone not choosing Omnipotence is lying.

    Btw, Omnipotence. :D

I like the humans who have no powers, the ones who are always facing a challenge. But I get gleeful when it comes to super-powered characters. That's when it gets plain cool. So really, any of the top ones, but I guess I'll go with Omnipotence - even if I don't know any of those characters that are listed there.

Omnipotence. Gotta get me some of that

...Actually, my favourite isn't omnipotence. I just really wanted to say that.

Sometimes in my nerdom I assume everyone knows certain characters. Galactus, Marvel comics, The Eater of Worlds and creator of the Silver Surfer. The Anti-Monitor is DC Comics and operates in the mirror anti matter universe. The Beyonder: Gathered all the heroes of Marvel Earth and let them have at it in the Secret Wars. To demonstrate his power he obliterated an entire galaxy in one panel.

No no, you misunderstood. I hardly know any comic book characters in the first place - it's not about the options in this poll. ;)

The options are quite fine. :D

Omnipotence , mainly because of the Phoenix Force and when it is with Jean Grey. I like seeing her deal with having such an awesome power at her disposal...

But I liked the Jean actually being the Phoenix instead of just being the avatar idea better.

I still adore Spidey though! [face_love]
