*sighs* So many resolutions, yet so many never get...um...resolved? Or done?

    1. Lurk less!
2.Do some challenges - not just sign on, but actually write and post.
3.Start writing the fics that have stewing in the back of my mind.
4.Actually finish stuff, and not heed the little voice that constantly says ,"Edit, edit!" so much.

    2006 Resolution for fanfiction

    1) Post my chapters more timely
    2) Delurk on the social thread
    3) Nominate and vote in the awards
    4) Revive the First Sentence Challenge threads in The Saga and Before
    5) Read works I might not have thought to read (mostly those that I've already missed so much on)

I never bother to make resolutions . . . but, oh, why not? ;)

    1) Finish my long WIP.
    2) Name the protagonist in said WIP.
    3) Start and finish my next project quickly.
    4) At least remember to reply to my friends' stories even if I don't have time to do anything else because of school.

    1. Hopefully Finish Renewal II: From The Ashes.

    2. finish "The Room" by Valentine's Day. I've only been stringing it along sice August. How long does one short story take.

    3. Finish that crossover I started in October.

    4. Get on a schedule and stick with it!

    5. Broaden my horizons, and post something, even a viggie or songfic in "Before."

    6. Participate in more challenges and write at least one seasonal fluffpiece.

    7. Write a songfic based around a song that isn't a Celine Dion number.

    8. Quit lurking. Honestly, there are fics I've lurked in since the first two or three posts, but haven't posted in, and have reached 20 or 30 posts.

I always resolve not to post more than one story at a time, and it never works.

But for writing, I want to:

    1) Not abandon things the way I tend to do.
    2) Keep up with writing fics the way I want to, and not always what people want to read.
    3) Try not to write too many fandoms at the same time.
    4) Most importantly, write my thesis.

-Write more stories (considering I only wrote 1 at the end of 2005 that shouldn't be hard)

    - Not be as scared to post stories[face_blush]

    - participate in a challenge

I need to do that one also

Yep, I'd like to do that too!

1- I will re-focus on my two WIPs: Shades of Gray, and There's No Such Thing As Luck.

2- I WILL read all those fics I have saved in my favs folder, about 20 of 'em.

3- I will NOT start another WIP until I finish "Luck, and reach a conclusion to part 1 of SoG.

4- I will convince my brother to join the boards and post his ongoing stormtrooper/clonetrooper fic.

5- I will try accomplishing these goals without staying online after 11 pm Eastern standard time, and get a full nights sleep.

6- Totally unrelated to fanficing; I will stop eating play-doh on a dare.

8- I will not read oqidaun's fics at night with only the light of my computer screen to illuminate my house.

9- I will not write while simaltaneously watching football/baseball.

10- I will carry a small notebook to jot down potential plot bunnies, and dialouge that appears in my brain screaming, "think about me! think about me!"

    doubt it... [face_skull]

Oh good. Someone upped this so I don't feel silly posting my resolutions so late:

    1. Finish my WIP by the end of March.
    2. Work out the bunny I have for another one ... and finish writing it before I post the first chapter.
    3. Work on building up my lexicon and sharpening my writing skills.
    4. Read more.

I'm with jackyyy17: Resolutions are better late then never.

    1. Learn to write stories longer than 1000 words.
    2. Lurk less, reply more (and more indepth).
    3. Start posting on the challenge/character workshop threads.
    4. Write one of the gazillion plot bunnies I have outlined on my HD.

Hopefully by writing these down I'll actually stick to them :D
