Your writing resolutions for the new year - a fun thread

1. Work on the Beyond the Saga fic that's been bouncing around my skull

2. Work on my original stuff

3. Stop starting new ones and forgetting the older ones

4. Think of more viewpoints for Like In A Pool of Water and get them posted.

5.Write more, do homework less. (Just kidding on the last part!)

6. Write for more challenges.

7. Keep working on character and world development.

 

1) Break my writer's block on Shadows of the Future
2) Work on as many Challenges/Plot Bunnies as I can
3) Brainstorm and try to write scenes on an idea I had for a Children's book (non-star wars) as well as another non-starwars story plot bunny.
4) Write character intros and backgrounds for my RPG characters
5) Flesh out more background information for Betrayal From the Past/Shadows of the Future

 

1) I will catch up on all the stories I've been falling behind on due to being away for Christmas and then Footloose
2) I will update more often than I have been... once Footloose is finished

 

1-I will do something to finally get the ball rolling for Space Cadets: Stranded.

2-I will be a better Mod at Spike Forums and The Fantasy Crossroads, the two ezboards in my sig.

3-I will finish Evac before the related chapters of TWotT are posted here

4-I will write the sequel to Evac, "The Last Safe Haven"

5-I will finish and post Warrior of the Gods

6-I will at least complete a good portion of the first book in my original fantasy series

7-I will post at least one update as scheduled this year

8-I will not say I'm going to enter a challenge and then not get around to writing my entry as I have repeatedly done over the past year

9-I will try to help the team of authors I work with to get our fics to the point where we have no more than two distinct continuities and to try to make our stories as compatible with eachother as possible. (A single continuity would be impossible because of conflicts between pre-established plot lines)


7 and 9 are looking highly unlikely and the rest are just unlikely, but I figure its worth a try.

 

1. I will post more often

2. I will create a posting schedule.

3. I will stick to the above mentioned posting schedule.

 

urg... resolutions... something I can never keep...

okay here goes nothing

1) I will finish Zetram...
2) I will not start a new story until the plot is fully laid out
3) I will finish my three original works laying around collecting dust
4) I will find enough time between writing to study


and

5) I will not start a sequel to Zetram until I got the plot bunnies in place
