Transmissions update and this image I have been toying with.
    [image=http://trashcompactorchronicles.co.uk/images/null%20copy.jpg]

Speaking of toys he is a Null class Arc trooper and is actually a custom 12" figure created by my good friend Leo.

They appear in the Knight Visions story on my site.

Stay tuned folks as this won't be the last you see of these bad boys.

Nice photomanip on that custom Null-ARC (altough "real" Null-ARCs have standart-ARC-armor, he looks really cool... seen him before on that custom-makers dude's site before :D). He doesn't look like a custom fig on that pic of yours, so good job. ;)

Can't wait to see more "of these bad boys". [face_mischief]

    Thanks for the nod Corran,

I was unaware of the Null details so thanks for that! I have yet to post it on my site so I'll make sure they don't get listed as Null Arcs.

Just adding a quick doodle to my thread this evening.

    Comments welcome!

This is a helmet design I came up with this morning. She is the pilot of the ugly in the space scene I posted recently.

That helmet is not ugly! it looks quite functional actually, even with a rough style we can see all the technological details to it... Really, it's nice :)

    Sweet Null-ARC btw! ;)

I'll add my own "not ugly" to the comments already posted, Daankin--it looks great to me! And I always admire those who can come up with original, functional-looking and unique designs for armoring, weapons and costuming (something I struggle with constantly...sigh). This looks very SW, and would certainly fit right in for any sort of starfighter uniform/flightsuit. Nice work!

    Heh, nice helmet, indeed... [face_mischief]

@Daenna, FF: I think by ugly he doesn't mean the helmet's appearance, but rather that the pilot is piloting an ugly... you know, uglies, X-TIEs or TIE-Wing Fighter.... from Rogue Squadron?

Oh... Oh, that kind. No you're right, it's the first time I hear about that term for pilots/starfighters. All that space navy lingo is alien to me :p

    Lol,

I seem to have caused a bit of confusion with that last post oops[face_whistling]

Many thanks for the coms peeps.

Corran caught on first though it is the ship that's an ugly.

I have been trying out some paint jobs for this Imp Commando Sgt.

And a great big "DOH!!" about the confusion with jargon, lol! [face_laugh] Perhaps if the term ugly had been in "quotation marks:" "Ugly"--it might have been a little more clear! ;)

I like the helmet design, Daankin (and the stitched-up scars he's got--wouldn't they have "liquid bandage" in the SW medkit...? :p)--are those circles on the crown dimples from projectiles, or perhaps some honeycombing to absorb impact...? In any case, the greens appeal to me--something different from the usual! Very nice!

Hey Daankin! Welcome back to the forum! Glad to see something new from you--and what a fabulous image! Tremendous detailing, particularly in the hangar environment, and the ship looks great (the indicator lights visible inside the starboard-mounted cockpit are amazing! =D= )! The sort of hazy city visible outside lends more atmosphere, and the "softness" of it keeps the focus on the hangar itself. Well, well done!

Glad to have you posting again!
