i gotta go with crowbar, if there was one lying around somewhere. not too heavy, compact, and with sharp and blunt edges, for human-to-zombie combat.

cars would be pretty good for destroying large numbers of zombies, but if they get in your screwed

Seeing as a flamethrower was conspicuously absent, I had to vote for Molotov cocktails.

Speak for yourself sunshine. Back in the bad old days before some retarded nutjob stepped out over the line in Tasmania, I had easy access to shotguns, bolt action rifles, air pistols and all sorts of nasty munitions for them. Don't forget the woodshop in the back shed either. I made a trebuchet once, and tired flinging some Greek Fire using a chemistry set - only reasons I didn't get in serious trouble with the police was that I was 9 years old, and the mixture for the Greek fire didn't work... too well.

Oh fine. Well I'm voting automobile, then. That way I can run down zombies while driving to Cargin's house to get some boomsticks. :p

I went cricket bat. I would have gone shovel but I don't like splinters.

Then again, maybe shovel technology has advanced since last time dad bought* a shovel

*inherited one of his dad, possibly his grandad.

You could set the cricket bat on fire. That would be a short-lived but totally awesome zombie-killer.

As far as I'm concerned, a katana is a household item.

I'd use that and the Paladin; it is a Holy Instrument after all (I think).

Now THAT is an AWESOME idea for a Fam Film - MS??

I've given it some thought and a bit of research, there are three kinds of zombies in the Star Wars Universe.

The Zelosians of Zelos II have legends of the walking dead on their homeworld. Whilst human in appearance, apparently they are descended from plants, much like Zhaan from "FarScape", and they have absolutely no night vision, hence their superstition. These zombies were later found to be parasitic worms infesting Zelosian corpses and temporarily "reanimating" them.

The Sith Lord Dathka Graush used an army of Sith Zombies to secure his position as Dark Lord approximately 7,000 before ANH. This was achieved through Sith Alchemy, and Sith Zombies are still part of Korriban's Anti-Tourist system.

Finally in Mysteries of the Sith, undead Sith Warriors would rise from their tombs and throw lightning at interlopers desecrating their Temples. They were powered by the Dark Side Energy of the Temples.

I've had a few ideas about this actually, and started jotting some notes. If Sammich is interested, I'd welcome his (or anyone else's) input.

    Regards,

    Magnus Darcrider

I went with the cricket bat (shawn of the dead style) however, I don't actually have one of them lying aroundt he house. Nor do I have a shovel, or any of thos eother things....I do however have a sword :p I suppose if I was about to die I'd be willing to use it. Though it's still packed away in a box....

Magnus, there's also Darth Andeddu. He was a powerful Sith Lord thousands of years before the films, who died but was able to keep his spirit tied to his rotting body, basically puppeteering his own corpse. Not strictly a zombie, but still more than a little undead.

Well, Andeddu does sound like the word Undead... Certainly Zombie-like, just not the mindless-zombie classification of zombies... zomboids... zombiotes? Okay, that's it - brain's fried for the afternoon :p hah.

Just read this thread for I think the first time.

Mildly disturbed by the effort and thought going into both the original question and the usual tangent ideas the thread has spawned. And I just used spawned.
    Really disturbed now now.

I can't choose a weapon. Would my sarcasm work?

Failing that. Cricket bat..or a spoon.

Would you be throwing the spoons, Blue Rajah (from Mystery Men) style? Cause I could totally see that working.

Morgan, just so you know, "zombiotes" is my new favourite word.

So...non violence is winning here. Does this mean we'll be putting them in cages and making funny tv shows out of them a-la Shaun of the Dead? Or keeping them in our garden sheds?

Yes, I know if you all all the weapons up, 'violence' wins...:p
