EDIT: Oh crap, a textual search for "Vergere" brings up the quote "...As this first book came together, Allston proposed a more literal interpretation of Vergere's continued influence on Jacen...". It's listed as page 421, placing it during the Betrayal section.

Also, Shadow Games is placed right before Rebel Dawn, rather than during it, as I had assumed. I'm not sure if that's a revelation to anyone besides me, but I'll just throw that out there.

 

RC-1991 It definitely is... though I believe they really got vergere wrong or never got her at all then if they thought that that is a literal interpretation. still the entry under Traitor makes me hope that at least someone understands, like Pablo, Stover and hopefully several more.

EDIT: So who are the two getting lectured by Yoda? I'm guessing one is either Dooku or Qui-gon. And I facepalmed at Bruck and Kenobi. Considering how many times I read JA as a child, I should have recognized that immediately.

 

hmm as for the art, lots of great stuff but also lots of random stuff that could be anybody in any book... many art pieces look drawn in a rush and more like fanart instead of professional art. too generic faces and too many humans indeed. well.. still lots of greatness in this guide so far!

Did anybody find that portrait of Kal Skirata they showed in one of the earlier art previews?

 

UPDATE: Text search reveals a caption for an image that apparently includes Luke, Ben, Darth Caedus, and some GAG. The next quote in the "Caedus" search, p.432, apparently describes Luke freeing Ben from the Anakin Solo, so apparently that hidden illustration is that silly duel in Inferno.
