Wouldn't it be awesome if Bethesda made a Star Wars game like Skyrim? Sure Bioware is good but I'm starting to like Bethesda's RPG games better and better, especially after Skyrim blew me away. It could be like TOR with multiplayer and then have a separate single player mode like Skyrim. I think it would be a really cool idea. What do you guys think?
It doesn't need an mmo like multiplayer, I despised TOR to begin with. It would be interesting though.
I agree with you. I never played TOR but it didn't look all that much like what I thought it was when it was announced. I said Skyrim because it's the newest and most popular. I'd say a game like Fallout, with the graphics of Skyrim, but better, and it would be amazing. With the multiplayer mode, it could be like Co-Op with just personal servers where you could play with just a small party of people and do quests and explore together.
Terrible idea. Star Wars is space opera. Bethesda games are sandbox RPGs. It's like saying you love chocolate, and you love hamburgers, so they should make a hamburger with lots of chocolate. It's as contemptuous and silly an idea as GTA Coruscant.
Meh, I don't think it would work. The best idea would be a virtual reality SW universe, but that's not happening.
I'm not saying they'd be exactly like the games that they've made already. Just use them as a basis. Obviously space travel would a crucial area to add.
Well I'm not saying it would be something that would come out tomorrow. It would be something in the future, when graphics cards are better. Maybe next gen consoles or the generation after next. I don't know. I'm asking if it's possible, I'm asking if you guys like the idea. Ya'll are a bunch of cynics.
I'm just yanking your chain... sorry. I love the idea. Something like this in the early Republic era would be great, pre-Ruusan, lots of Jedi & Sith running around... it could be fun.
Simpsons reference. But I'm struggling to reconcile internally which I think is a more terrible idea, this or GTA Star Wars.
There's probably a mod for both out there somewhere. I know there's a Mario mod and a My Little Pony mod for Skyrim, or at least they're being worked on.
You could literally make a gazbillion dollars right there. Nobody has ever thought of this idea before. And if they had, it would always work really well.
