Discussion Worst Possible Shippings

A few of my own...

Kyp Durron/Atris. One of them would have to time travel, and when they met, they'd hate each other at first sight. They're pretty much the two opposite camps of the Jedi, and that's not the sort of differences you can get over.

Saba Seybante/Darth Maul. Likely to end in violence.

Waru/Nen Yim. No. Just....no.

So post your craziest ships here!

 

Dark Nest Jaina/Zekk. There was way too much elbow rubbing and throat clicking.

 

Worse ships? Titantic II... j/k

Omini/Lumiya - one is ugly as sin, the other is a cyborg, oh the drama!

Palpatine/Mara - You know, despite the major age difference... this is actually plausible. *gasp* Any ship with him will result in this. Be warned, it's disturbing.

 

There is a writer over at FFN that writes that 'ship. Ack!

 

OH GOD MY BRAIN...

 

Oh it's worse than that because I am pretty sure Mara is underage in the fic.

 

I don't normally hate directly on stuff, but that Mara/Palps fic is one of the worst things I've come across on ff.n. And to make it worse, Mara is underage and completely out of character. It's one thing to do crackships for laughs, it's another thing to do it seriously and with those sort of implications.

Leia/Wicket. Those would be some ugly children. Yoda/Malla would also be bad.

Booster/Isard. Now that's just wrong.

 

Go to ff.n and you will find some freaking disturbing stuff, I'm telling ya.

Quinlan Vos/Obi-Wan Kenobi

 

Urk. I agree with the dislike for creepily exploitative (Mara/Palps, just no) and vast species difference (and umm, anything with Waru) pairings. But the devil's advocate in me has to say that Booster/Isard could be epic if done halfway believably. If just for the horrified expression on poor Corran's face.

Watto/anyone

Even if I went for crackships with cannon characters in SSR... well actually, I think there are a couple good writers on these boards who could make that pairing work, but I could more easily see Obi-Wan with Mace Windu, and Quinlan Vos with Anakin Skywalker.

 

I've seen a Binks/Padme. But... it wasn't in a fan fic.

It was fan art. Adult fan art.

And the image is forever burned into my brain.

I actually wrote a Luke/R2D2 'shipping fic called, Be Careful What You Wish For. It got good reviews.

 

Just remember, R2-D2 has seen a lot of action...

Supposedly in canon there were females but can you guys seriously see him with anyone?

 

It's more like, can you unsee it?

 

Pre-RoTS, yes. Post... not so much. Not because he becomes physically hideous because of the struggle with Mace Windu though... more because there seemed to be more of a transcendent spiritual transformation as well... I mean, he was already dark because he was a Master Sith, but also it was like he no longer needed to appear the kindly benefactor to anyone and transcended... or descended into something so dark that any intimate relationship with anyone would be impossible... even if it was a sadistic sort of relationship.

 

Exactly, it'd be like somebody having an affair with the Eye of Sauron or something.

 

Jacen/Mara. Yes, this has happened.
