Lit Obscure EU things you'd include in a novel if you could

Streen went with Kirana Ti to open a Jedi Praxeum on Dathomir during the NJO, there they fought back the Vong for 6 months with help of the Witch clans. The witches were able to hold them off in a draw until Hapan support arrived. This was barely mentioned in few lines of the NJO.

Later when the Jedi Academies on Corellia and Dathomir were closed in LOTF, Corran, Streen, Kirana Ti etc. returned to Ossus and later Shedu Maad in the Hapes Cluster.

Kitster and his dad. I mean I seriously want that. That was such a wonderful plot they had in the Episode I Adventures. So bittersweet and painful.

 

I had a couple of those Adventure books, but not the ones he was in. Didn't even realize he was in them! I need to check that out.

or the going ons between the Last Command and Dark Empire, how Luke and Lando used that captured Star Destroyer that ended up crashing on Coruscant (with Luke having done something very similar to his father in ROTS), the story of those two Ewok commandos...

What happened to the Ysanna people? Were more trained as jedi? Whatever happened to those the Emperor had captured?

The Ysanna are forever stuck in carbonite.

The X-1 Viper war droids are cool. I like the E-Wings too and was sad that they weren't more prevalent in the NJO.

4. F-III Footman droids. Deadly butler droids need to be seen more round here.

5. Maybe a tad "topical" at the moment, but more insight regarding the GFFA's financial system would be (could be, but for the inevitable temptation to ham-handed social commentary) interesting.

6. Mines, especially landmines. Come get me with that laser sword of yours, Jedi! I dare ya!

7. Actual elections, since the NR and GA are allegedly democracies. Parliamentary politics and whatever. Just something to show that they're not just the Empire without the cool uniforms and vehicles.

This. I kinda liked that when I read the book, to be honest. I still can hear him ask his father: "Did something bad happen to Zam?" Aww, Boba...

 

Boba was a little twerp in AOTC, but those books made him likeable enough. To include other things from those that are obscure:

-Honest "Gjon"
-A Magic Black Book that knows what Boba needs when he needs it
-Cloud cars are flown with a ring
-Aliens that don't know their gender until their teen years; how do you buy clothes for the babies? Is there a store that only sells black, white, and gray?
-Credit "notes"
