Season 3 Once Upon A Time last night. I love Lana Parrilla.

 

She is not very attractive to me in most pictures but this one is a rare exception.

 

I find her slightly terrifying.....

She'd make a HOTT Dominatrix though.

Physical attractiveness alone and not counting personality? I'd call J. Lawrence homely. She's not hot. Taking her personality into consideration, she has the "girl next door" appeal because she's both homely but attractive enough that nerds who don't interact with women very often in a sexual or romantic way elevate her. Hypothetically attainable = more attractive. As far as the love from straight chicks, that's irrelevant because they're just going to say she's hot because they look up to her.

At the end of the day though, it really doesn't matter what the hell she looks like. But I'm going to call a plain chick plain when I see one. Also, differing opinions and that jive.

 

Hopefully much longer than those who keep pretending Sandra Bullock is hot

As for Jennifer Lawrence, I agree with SLG. She's pretty to look at but that's not the same as being hot/sexy. Same with Natalie Portman & Keira Knightley IMO

 

Keira is flat, Natalie is ... oooh, oh that!

 

Jennifer Lawrence isn't "hot" if you're just talking physically. But she's a good actress and seems to have a genuinely hilarious personality (Oscars, for example), so I like her. And I think you can find someone sexy based on their talent and personality, even if said person isn't physically "hot."

EDIT: I totally fell in love with Olga Kurylenko in Terence Malick's To the Wonder from earlier this year. She just owned that movie; even with Malick's oblique style, she manages to give a really amazing performance. She so inhabits that character that I really felt a tremendous amount of affection. It's been a really long time since I had a romantic feeling quite like that for a movie character; it wasn't just that she was hot - it was like I wanted to be in a relationship with her. I know, that sounds really weird, but her character was so great, I was just like I WILL TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOU THAN BEN AFFLECK

 

Olga didn't have much to do in Oblivion other than stand around looking confused, but that was enough for me

 

I'm only looking forward to X-Men: DoFP because J-Law.

 

It has nothing to do with weight for her, it's just her overall look, especially her face. I guess celebs I think are hot - Christina Hendricks, Charlize Theron, Laura Prepon. But also I'm taking into consideration what these people look like outside of overedited films and photoshop.

 

Romijn was a better Mystique

It's a shame they aren't both going to be in the next X-Men movie.

 

Oh man Romijin was drop dead gorgeous in the Brian de Palma thriller, Femme Fatale. I mean holy moly. Shame she hasn't really done that much.
