I'd agree with that.

 

So even risking the Khaleesi's wrath... I have to admit that I actually preferred the days when we got an El Maybe rumor every day... At least we had something to discuss, regardless how outrageous the rumors were, there were some news every day and you always hoped that 1 in 10 might have been true. As you say in my country: Even a blind chicken finds a corn sometimes...

 

I know even the crazy rumours have stopped. Somebody make something up .... quick

Then again, this is just Ford being Ford. He did the same thing with ROTJ.

Ford being in it would be amazing. I don't think the OT would of been the same without him

 

Latest I saw was Ford requested that no announcements be made before 10/22 so he wouldn't have to answer questions about it during his PR tour for Ender's Game.

Ford, IMO, will not back off from Episode VII.

In 1982, things were different. He wanted to act in other roles and did as a result and was very successful.

Now, times changed. He's not trying to break new ground as an actor so he might as well be Han Solo again. Besides, why would he back down from the big $$$$$ Disney will throw at him?

 

Eww. No thanks. Just a the thought of Maguim P.I. as Solo makes me squirm.

 

Ford is in the golden years of his life, and he just wants to have a little fun with roles.

 

Tom Selleck wouldn't of been my choice for Solo

 

Or they could say he died before the movie takes place. I mean if the movie does take place 30 years after ROTJ.

Possibly because acting for him is not about the money? He's earned the money, it's now about what he wants to do.

 

He wants enough money to build his own Millennium Falcon!

 

Well we only have to wait till tomorrow to find out... it will certainly be interesting to watch their reactions... esspeciallyif the rumor does come up.

I'm not worried about that for some reason. I bet he will return. It would be harder for him not to. I doubt this late in his life/career he wants to piss off the public by putting his nose in the air to the film that started it all for him. And with out a doubt is his most memorable role (that and Indy).

 

I must say I love Thrusdays. Why? Because movie news always gets released on a Thrusday. Which always gives me hope that maybe some thing will come out for Episode VII.
