ST [Poll] Who is going to say "I've got a bad feeling about this"?

Maybe the bad guy. Do baddies have bad feelings about things?

 

Can`t someone sneak in on set and have a look at the script?

 

I already did last Thursday. A Tusken sees Luke's lightsaber and says, "Oh crap, I have a bad feeling about this."

 

I want to change my vote. I think Bob will say it

 

Would Bob even say it in Basic?

I propose that someone will say "I have a bad feeling about this" in a language other than Basic, like Huttese. Now that would be different, methinks.

I'm holding out hope that Mando'a could be used: "Ni gana dush'kar'tayl jorcu ibic."*

*I probably butchered the translation, but it's the spirit that counts!

 

Should be one of the new leads. Daisy could say it if they are searching for Luke and can't find him.

 

Of course Han COULD say it, when he finds out that young Daisy has taken the Falcon for a quick spin

That's an interesting idea, actually. It would provide a nice variation if the "I have a bad feeling about this" line were spoken in an alien language, especially with the text caption on screen. I like that idea.

Hmm, why so many votes for Daisy?

 

In some of the movies, the line has been said twice. I believe in ANH it was said twice and maybe in another one. So, two separate characters have a chance.

So, the only one of the main characters in the OT that hasn't said it yet, is Lando.

 

It will be Bob. Jokes aside I want one of the younger ones to say it. Ya know, to inherit the catchphrase. Maybe once by the old ones and once buy the new ones. Perhaps right before something cuts off their hand.

 

Chewbacca needs a crack at it.

 

I have a feeling it'll be John Boyega. Don't know why, but that's my gut.

 

JJ will want to play up the nostalgia of it, so I'm sure one of Mark/Carrie/Harrison will get it.

Ridley will probably say it at some point, as well.

 

First instinct is it's gonna be Boyega, if he's more a military type going on an adventure with a scrap hunter I can see it coming into play there.

 

I'm going with Daisy, too, but only because I have the sneaking suspicion she'll be my favorite new character.

I honestly think it would be cool for someone to start saying "I have a bad feeling about this", and then be interrupted by some sort of action.

I.E, Daisy and Boyega enter some sort of dark passageway, lit only by their lightsabers, and as they walk in Daisy shudders. "I have a bad fe-" and suddenly something attacks from behind.

 

Kinda what I was thinking. Have someone start to say it, then they get cut off and that's the last of this lame tradition. Reminiscent of the 007 reboot:

Bond: Do I look like I give a damn?

 

Altough it`s debatable whether he should be considered a main character or not.

 

Hopefully no one. And also, hopefully no one will say 'this is where the fun begins' either.

 

Wouldn't it be great if no one said it, if Abrams avoided going for the lowest hanging fruit phony "insider" references that are the bread and butter of tweeny shows on Nickelodeon.

 

She just happens to be the most popular newcomer, I think, so people vote for her regardless.
