Whilst the opening double of Into the Lungs of Hell/Set the World Afire is one of the better openers (and what inspired Mustaine to create the Dialetic Chaos/This Day We Fight! double whammy on Endgame), the album lacks a consistently that the ones bookending it have. Peace Sells and Rust in Peace are big albums to live up to and I can't help but feel So Far, So Good... So What! falls short. Same way Youthanasia did but Cryptic Writings did not.

Rogue_Ten, I would have most definitely called it out. Mustaine was fairly liberal back in the 90s, when he covered the Democratic convention for MTV and wrote tracks like Take No Prisoners or Foreclosure of a Dream. But, between his addictions, September 11, and his rampant insecurities he's just basically slid to this horrible right wing place where he's become ignorant, paranoid, bigoted, and plain wrong.

Playing with Metallica at their 30th anniversary shows should have calmed him down; it didn't.

You should try and watch his interview with Alex Jones, Maik. Then watch an old one with Arsenio Hall. When he says he's always been a right wing Christian, you can say to yourself... "Nope."
