If you really want it you could commission (yes, for money) an artist to make it for you on deviantart.com... but no, didn't see any such fanart/photomanipulation though I did see Daisy as Ventress photomanipulation.

 

Don't assume, please. Female fans have been here since the beginning, and there are more of us than you think.

 

There's one in the Poster thread sticky at the top of the page (page 7) along with other photo-manips of her in more of an action style. If you haven't seen that thread, it's worth trawling for those images. Some of them are pretty good!

 

Star Wars transends gender, generations, and cultures. You couldn't be more right. I've worked with kids and have meet hundreds of young female fans of Star Wars. I've dated plenty of women who love it too, and it was my own mother who made sure I watched the TV airing of the 10th anniversary of the OT even though I was only 2 1/2 since it was her favorite movie of all time. I still recall her arguing with my Trekie father that I was too young to get it, when she argued Star Wars was so black and white I could since in a way it was a fairy tale and that part of it any 2 year old could watch. Needless to say Star Wars on a little 18" tv is one of my first memories and its effected me my whole life.

This is why as a male fan, as attractive as Daisy is I'm far more excited that we'll finally be getting a female [likely] jedi, especially now that Lucas isnt involved. I want even more females to love Star Wars because there is now even more female characters they can relate to. This is very important to the franchises longevity. Hunger Games is a success since in a way its teen girls first real Star Warsy trilogy (suppose Quadrilogy), I say Star Wars should remind the world no franchise can do it better that it can... this includes appealing to both sexes. Hunger Games, LotR, James Bond, Marvel, Harry Potter are all potentially about to be dethrowned. Even Star Wars weakest grossing film earned more than low earned of the other fanchises, it earned about as much as Captain America 2 without the benifit of 3D and nearly twice that of the highest grossing LotR/Hobbit film. Now imagine how much it will make if teen girls want to see it as much as the boys because now the female characters are stronger characters than they ever where before. More money equals more spinoffs and greater variety of them...

Further the more success VII has with females, the more ABC tv will be pushing for a Star Wars tv show... which benifits male fans directly.

I remember him from WMAC Masters

He's done some stunt work here and there, but what I'm wondering is, is he REALLY a part of the Ep 7 staff? He's credited as such on IMDB.

 

That Rey-Phillip V. Santos instagram is not really him and its an imposter. They already confirmed on several Episode VII sites that Santos doesn't have any social media sites. He's a family man with grown kids and a legit dance/stunt performer and too old to be trolling or doing stuff like this.

Well according to Star Wars 7 News, Examiner, and a few other VII news sites Rey's just a PA and he doesn't have any social profiles. So its either some idiot fanboy who knows someone close to him or a former friend or staff making a fake profile to have it look like its legit which is clearly a fake profile in the first place. I don't but some must really hate him to get him fired.

 

Daisy Ridley's character better keep a close watch on her right arm when we get around to Ep8 if the previous trilogies are anything to go by.
