LOL that needs to go into the most outlandish Fulcrum possibilities.

That would be interesting. But I also think they would want Fulcrum to stick around for a bit before killing her off. That way people get connected first and it's a bigger emotional situation.

    -Engelhast-

LOL. That's the best one yet. [face_laugh]

But the entire point of the character is you don't know who they are. Thus a recording that is suppose to be masked can be done by anyone and it wouldn't matter, because you are not suppose to know who it is. So theoretically the voice actress of Hera could be having a conversation with herself. It wouldn't matter because the voice is masked.

Yes, and that's why they changed the voice to sound like a man. And I know that were not supposed to know who it is yet, but there are hints and clues as to who it 'could' be. Right now, any guess is good. But I also feel like whoever this person is going to be, is a pretty big deal. I don't believe they would cover it up this much, at least not letting us have many hints; if we wouldn't know who it was at first glance.

But you do have a point as well. :)

Have there really been that many clues? I agree with all the theories being fun and solid, but I honestly don't think they have given us that much info. More based in logic. Like as you pointed out, it is probably someone we know because they are hiding who it is.

I like the theory that "Fulcrum" is in fact Hera, in the classic Muad'Dib approach.

Well, the markings on the crate was a hint. And Hera never refers to Fulcrum as a man at all. Small things. Also, the base they went to was Fort Anaxes, a Clone Wars republic base. So, someone either came across it, or knew about this base from fighting in the Clone Wars.

That would be interesting. But they mentioned this Fulcrum is a contact of Hera's. I don't even think Kanan knows who Fulcrum is.

Same with me. If Fulcrum turns out to be the character Ahsoka at this point in the show people like myself and the little kids who have not seen Clone Wars will have the reaction 'Who is this character I have never seen or heard of?'
Am I wrong? I'm just thinking that usually for character reveals in a show you see the character before the reveal, hence Gall Trayvis.

I'm between Ahsoka, Mon Mothma, or Leia. Mon Mothma, I think, is too high up on the rebel totem pole to be dealing with our Rebels. Leia is too young, and I can't see her operating outside of her father like this. Ahsoka makes sense to me, given Hera seems to know who Fulcrum is and Ahsoka has connections to rebel factions as seen in the Onderon arc and by extension could have connections to rebels on Ryloth which would involve the Syndullas.

Honestly, if it is Ahsoka, its the people who never watched TCW who are at fault for not knowing who she is, not Rebels. Love her or hate her, Ahsoka has been around for long enough and has been accessible enough for audiences to have had the chance to see her before a reveal in Rebels.

    Huge twist. Hera is Fulcrum.

That is to say, there is no Fulcrum. Hera made the whole thing up to keep the Ghost crew together. She suffers from extreme abandonment issues caused by her childhood and cant bear to let her friends disperse when they are finished with each mission, so she uses the "Fulcrum" line to make them believe there is always one more thing to do. She blurted out the name "Fulcrum" one day as an attempt to keep Kanan from leaving, and now the story has gotten so out of hand she has to keep up a front.

At some point the crew will figure out the whole story is a ruse and lose all trust in Hera and disband. Kanan will flee to Tatooine and return to the bottle; Sabine will disappear in the night after vandalizing the Ghost with "pretty colors"; Zeb and Chopper will hang around because Zeb has no where to go, and Chopper is just a droid, but it will be reallllly tense and awkward on the Ghost for a while. The Ghost will finally depart Lothal, as they realize there is no reason to remain, and leave Ezra behind, because nobody liked Ezra anyway. It was crazy Hera, after all, who spoke up for the kid in the first place, out of a desire to be surrounded by "friends". Ezra will return to his street rat, riff raff ways, only to arrested by the Empire for J walking and some trumped up charges of petty theft and assault, and will rot in a Lothal prison for the rest of his days. (Nobody will realize it's the wonder kid they've been looking for this whole time, because the Empire is like totally stupid, amirite?)

    **

Outlandish, for sure, but I had more fun writing up this fluff than I did watching several episodes of the show so far.

I'll rage-quit if the show tries to make Hera look bad.

Hoping the Fulcrum is an unknown new character.

You're on a Star Wars message board.

There is no need to refer to Han in such a way that indicates we won't know who he is without your added description, or in such a way that indicates he is unimportant.
