Don't worry about that. If Fulcrum does end up being Ahsoka, they will treat her like a new character. Just like you weren't expected to know who Obi-Wan or Lando were when they showed up. It's just a bonus if you do. Any information about Ahsoka that would be important in this show, she would definitely explain it to the crew.

If Fulcrum is a TCW character, I think Ventress would be more likely than Ahsoka. After all, she was much more the shadowy underworld figure than Ahsoka was when we last saw them.

 

But Ahsoka could have gained the same demeanor in the past fourteen/fifteen years. We have no idea what Ahsoka's been up to. Ventress could be part of Fulcrum's people though.

 

Well we know from concept art that Ahsoka helped the Mandalore Resistance (and since the Empire is in control of Mandalore, It's safe to assume that they won), so Ahsoka would probably have more Rebel connections than Ventress

 

Agreed. And maybe that's when Ahsoka took the name Fulcrum as well. Or maybe Bo-Katan's death watch started calling her that and it just stuck. I could see them offering to work for her in the future if she needs it. That is; if she impressed them enough.

 

You know nothing says that altered voice record isn't the result of using old recordings back when Ahsota was alive and they continue to use that since the Empire know she's dead but are still looking for someone who doesn't exist.

Ships are stopped and searched any hidden messages such as that on the crate are added when delivered to reduce chance of detection.

So Fulcrum could literally be anyone even Hera if necessary for as long as those involved have a good reason to hate the Empire but clever enough to realise the need for both secrecy and what's at stake.

A New Dawn holds some interesting details specifically regarding Hera's initial involvement which makes me wonder what group(s) Hera was involved with at that time.

I'll stop there about that book, spoilers after all!

Never thought of Ventress to be honest. Now that I think about it, that voice mask her helmet had sounds kinda similar to Fulcrum.

It would be. I'm sure Kanan would have heard about her if he was fighting in the Clone Wars.

 

If she did get her name from that, then that would be a good reason why they won't tell us any Clone Wars stuff 'til April. They don't wanna spoil Rebels.

 

Yeah, that would be a pretty good reason. Perhaps it also means something different in Mando'a. We don't know the whole language so it's possible. But it would also make me wonder what exactly it was she did that would earn her a nickname from Mandalorian's. I mean, could it also be possible she's an honorary one as well?

 

Ehh, could just be a codename that eventually became her "real name", like "Ben" was for Obi-wan. I would suspect Sabine would say something about it if Fulcrum meant something special in Mando.

 

All of this would be amazing....... I hope that Filoni and company have planned out the reveal for whoever Fulcrum is very meticulously.

That's possible as well. I know Sabine's voice actress has said before she wants to learn Mando'a. So I expect we'll hear Sabine speak it eventually. But Fulcrum meaning something in Mando'a was just an idea. Maybe Fulcrum was once a great leader in Madalore's past?

It's plausible, the season finale will air in March and the July Solications arrive in April (The Leia miniseries ends in June), around the same time as Celebration Anaheim, so that's when we should get an announcement.
