There's a hologram, but the way the camera is angled means you never actually see it.

Interesting, just caught up with this. I'm definitely afraid for Ahsoka. :p Now it all boils down to a typical Ahsoka vs Vader; kill vs not kill. Some wants the - Kill, off with her head. Yeh! (sarcastic) another piece of concrete evidence that Vader has totally shredded his old self, he's soooo badass. He is confirmed, because he killed his old apprentice, for the 10000th time, a dark Sith Lord who lets nothing stands in his way, his hate and he just sprayed painted another layer of black on his armor btw. Minion of Palpatine. Yes master, no master, By Your Command. Um.. so what's new? Nothing, he's just baking the same old dry cookies. And of course, everyone else from TCW and SWR must die too because ... they never appear in TNH and beyond. .... weally..?

I don't know. I was just kind of hoping for something else, not the dry stagnant interpretation of Vader of the OT and watch him rinse and repeat his black actions. Of course, one can say that's all he's good for. The only action he can take. I guess I'm chipping like an annoying cricket. *shrug* The only thing that's holding my interest in SW now is Ahsoka because of the way they wrote this character in TCW. Every Jedi she knew never made it in the OT and I'd definitely like to see that she does. I'll just shut up now.

Hmm... I was thinkin'... a pretty plausible reason for why Palpatine specifically told Vader to send an inquisitor after Ahsoka, and not go after her himself, might be fear. Fear of how sending Vader after Ahsoka could go wrong, from his POV.

Literally the only information he's got from Vader about her is that she is alive. That's it. Nothing as to her mind state, whether she's still living as a Jedi or a Jedi-like individual, or whether she's gone dark, nothing - just that she lives.

Bearing that in mind, the last thing Palps would want is a rerun of the Maul-Savage debacle, with Vader possibly turning his former apprentice and bringing her onside, and then both of them coming after Palpatine, as is the Sith way. Palps has to account for all eventualities, and the specter of Vader taking a possibly darksided Ahsoka as his Sith apprentice, and promptly turning on his own master, isn't a possibility he'd want to leave remotely open. Better to just send some inquisitor, to hopefully neutralize Ahsoka or at least to learn more about her, and keep her and Vader well enough away from each other.

Please, don't. A good discussion is always welcome.
Ah, I didn't know that's how their conversation went. Question - did Palpatine say "inquisitor(s)?" I just wondered if the two red-saber baddies are indeed inquisitors or just hench(wo)men.

And we're still wondering, right, if the lady is Barriss or Buffy?

I thought Papls was just acknowledging Ahsoka’s plot armor. J/K. In all seriousness I agree with you.

@ Darth Valkyrus, you give me much hope. :) It does make sense, the way you lay it out. Perhaps there'll be subplots about the Inquisitor and Ahsoka's cat and mouse chase. If it comes to that, would this inquisitor be another person Ahsoka knows? Perhaps Ahsoka and Vader would meet once, despite Palpatine's efforts to keep them apart. At a distance or a real clash? I'm hoping a mix; distance, a brief crossing of lightsabers, some dialogue and something else separates them again.

Thanks for posting the spoilers. I'm unlikely to catch the new season that fast so I'll be reading spoilers because I wouldn't want to wait. :p

I've too much time on my hands I think. Ahsoka Vader flu bug. lol.

My worst scenario is that Palpatine would order Vader to kill Ahsoka in front of him. So she becomes just another black notch in Vader's belt, the Rebellion lost one of its leaders, she becomes a martyr. ugh. no, I don't want to ever see this.

My best scenario - Ahoska finds out the events in ROTS, maybe she feels something in him, maybe it's delusion, whatever but she thinks she could try to turn him away. So while the Rebel crew takes centre stage, in the background, she's having a cat and mouse hunt with the inquisitor sent after her while trying to figure out what she can do about Vader. They don't really meet face to face until maybe when Rebels is about to close off. During the dialogue, her hopes are dashed, they fight but he doesn't give her the killing blow. He lets her go, tells her the Rebellion will not succeed, her old master Anakin is dead, she will never see him again, and tells her the next time they meet, he will not hesitate. She leaves, disillusioned, grieved, lost hope (also depending on the Rebellion story angle so it might be a double blow) and she is discouraged. And remains so until events of ANH that bolster her up again; her target now, is focused on overthrowing the Empire and she accepts that Anakin is lost.

Ahsoka is not a leader of the rebellion she more or less just gives information to rebel cells

The leaders are Bail at this point.

It depends on how you define " a leader of the rebellion". That's a very vague term.

Not that much, really. I definitely get the sense that she outranks Sato but she only pulls rank on him once. I think she's like Bail Organa's primary agent. Doing the stuff he can't be directly involved in.

Ok I will still hold by what I said but I do agree she is high ranking but not a leader of the Rebellion.

She's key leader in the Rebel network. Tano seems to be on about equal footing with Bail, even if he was the financier he'd still need to rely on her expertise and experience as she's a Clone Wars veteran and a Jedi. So Bail likely entrusted her with the same or a higher rank than she had during TWC. Being that she's apparently the only Jedi and the Rebel Network military is probably structured in a similar manner to the older Grand Republic Army military.

For all that he is a Dark Jedi/Sith, he's still following (however twistedly) the template laid down by those two philosophies, or should I say philosophy, since the Sith are a break-away faction of the Jedi to begin with.
