I imagen this is the results of the rewrites that swtor underwent after Makeb. Disney may have said: "SWTOR exists because we allow it, it will change because we demand it. This exchange is over" But it is good to see it will continue, even if it must change much to do so.
Also, if the Inquisitor class mission on Rishi really was foreshadowing for this, that would just about be the coolest thing ever. Those messages were SO intriguing.
You know something strange is going on when people think a wormhole to the canon universe is more likely than someone who lived in a Sith empire turning out to have been possessed by a Sith Lord.
Someone on Reddit posted this picture saying it's from KotFE trailer. Looks legit (and awesome), but I have no idea where did he get that.
I hope Jadus will show up again, since he's the only council member who got some idea of the Emperor's doing.
So the Republic Troopers' visors are like ODSTs from Halo and they can be opaque or transparent depending on whether the trooper happens to be talking to you at the time?
Jadus might be dead, so it's unlikely he'll show up again except via email or something cost-cutting like that.
No idea if that is just a photoshopped pic or not. Guess we'll find out soon. And in TOR, most ancient tech is either Sith, Rakata or Gree related. Not much interest in columi or even old Architect/celestial (Rakata is already old enough for most purposes). The Dread Masters especially stole a lot of gree tech, and then there's that gree event on Ilum. Tesseract pops up in sci-fi writing, though mostly it just refers to... dimensional something or other (its fiction, not like it has to make that much sense). I noticed the part about that general growing up on Zakuul, implying he possibly grew up there before Vitiate took over. Interesting how his quotes are the opposite of the Dark Prince's ("Destiny is a lie" compared to "Seize your destiny!"). Perhaps even that enforcer might be related to Zakuul. Lana (and probably "Valkorian") are the only recognizable characters so far. Well, HK-55 is another iteration of the HK line, just curious about his origins (Czerka's not in great shape these days).
In general ancient remnants in TOR break down pretty neatly as Sith=Force-tech, Gree=pure tech, and Rakata=weird stuff - with a few exceptions like the hypergate storyline. I think the Kwa may be being largely omitted for clarity.
Sith and Rakata - Force tech. Kwa = virulently exterminated by the Rakata. That is what works for me. The Columi and Sharu minimised their influence by hiding on their worlds from the Celestials. We do have the Killiks and the Dawn Herald at least. Sent from the World
Based on what we learned in Dawn of the Jedi, that is how I understand it as well, yes. I suppose it's possible that BioWare could introduce something new like the Kwa-- or an entirely different race-- though. They did that with the Rakata in KOTOR, and it's a common trope for their writers in video game stories, so...
Actually he is not killed in any ending, even in the worst ending for him he is only taken captive. So they could bring him back if they want. I would like them to as he is a cool character, crazy but cool. Edit: also what slowpoke said.
Well by the mental breakdown my Facebook is having I gather that the Fallout 4 trailer was just shown so... Soon? Sent from the World
Sinrebirth if the times listed on the live stream YouTube are localised (which I think they are) then the EA press conference starts at 9pm GMT and runs until 10pm. So... just over two hours to wait for the trailer.
If it's anything like the game announcements I've watched in the past, we'll probably sit through 50 minutes of boredom before they finally get to the fricking trailer. I hope the live broadcast cuts to the trailer direct though, and isn't just shot from somewhere in the audience, complete with coughing and awwing, as that sometimes makes me prefer to just wait until afterwards anyway.
It should be up on Youtube soon after anyways. The nice thing about streams is just being able to switch to another browser window while waiting for something interesting to happen. The only downside is having to keep checking on it, and not being to rewind. I sometimes prefer liveblogs, as those don't come with annoying sound (meaning hearing executives rambling on), but never sure which one to follow these days. I wonder if swtor or battlefront will be shown first. Battlefront will be more popular, but that might mean they'll save it for last.
