Well, literal reincarnation or not, I do feel (in addition to her being reminiscent of the original plans for 'the Other') that Rey is a new take on Anakin in the same way that TFA as a whole can be seen as a new take on "Episode I". It would be very easy to retrofit that movie into one about the "First Clone Legion" attacking the Republic and Anakin being discovered on Tatooine. Very easy, indeed.

Hmm. EzRA, who's parents are MiRA and EphRAim. And early production name for Rey (Whose helmet has the name RAe) was KiRA. Rey is a Bridger confirmed.

No, you're right, for sure. But I still don't like the idea of Rey being reincarnated Anakin. Someone like Anakin–or a descendant of Anakin–or a new Chosen One–or even Anakin 2.0, The Force Strikes Back From Luke's Loins–whatever, fine. But the reincarnation idea? A little odd, IMO. I'd never be able to look at her without seeing Hayden's face superimposed over it or vice versa.

The Maw has never once made sense ever. They tried to explain it at the end of the EU and it made even less sense than before.

 

Yo, this trailer, man... I'm hyped!
I especially like how they didn't hardly even waste any time on stuff we already knew about, like Leia and the Protectors, but just full-steamed straight to all these brand new things. I had to watch this thing like five or six times just to catch everything. Who noticed the Twi'leks wearing old 212th armor? That's gonna be cool. Everything else...I mean, I'm kinda late so everybody's pointed out the major stuff already, but damn, I'm down. Even for ******* Maul of all people showing up again. What a weird ass choice but...okay Rebels, you've earned the good faith, wow me. And goddamn, everything they showed looked so ridiculously *pretty*.

lol The Databank just super lowkey confirmed Jango and Boba as Mandalorians. Like, in plain open language, but in a weird as hell place to do it.

I like the part early on where Ezra is deflecting blaster shots, then switches to using his saber as a blaster.

Had it already been established that it couldn't do both at the same time? My first thought was that, internally, the blaster and lightsaber were distinct. . . but now it seems like both functions make use of the kyber crystal.

And, on that note, someone really needs to make a Zelda clone featuring Ezra, already.
