No but like...what if she is? What if in Episode VIII things get really bad and she goes digging in her things and finds it.

Hm, Ezra likes Sabine, her last name is Wren. Knights of Ren... Hmmmm, Ezra created the KoR in honor of Sabine (without the W). :p

    ::facepalm::

    Okay, so:

Anakin is wearing a t-shirt with the emblem of the Jedi order on it, and I love it.

It's still so weird seeing that in the Rebels animation style, being so used to TCW. Seems more heroic with the McQuarrie-esque style.

I never liked the idea of "Jedi robes," frankly.

Me neither. ROTJ was really weird seeing everyone dressed like a moisture farmer :p

    TFA spoilers:

I think that Rey's ending outfit in TFA is the ideal Jedi outfit -- practical but still cool. I think the vest is also a Resistance flight jacket, which works well too. It's very EU Jedi, who kind of just wore normal people things.

Well, until they got into that weird jumpsuit phase in YJK and NJO. That was... odd.

Luke's white robes look pretty cool though!

Yeah, it's probably just there for budget concerns, but I like that outfit a lot.

Filoni said that in the EW piece -- they had to use that outfit in the hologram because they used up their cloth animation budget.

That's weird. Anakin's usual TCW outfit doesn't have a lot of floppy cloth on it. All the same he's basically wearing this.

    and yet it works.

Personally, I think it's ugly. I can't tell if it's a tunic, a t-shirt, pieces of armor or a mix of it all.

I actually really liked the costume before I saw the giant Jedi logo on it. Yikes, Anakin.

Apparently, it's supposed to be a training outfit of some kind. The holo is basically a "how to lightsaber" recording that he did for the holocron.

Can't remember if it's been brought up here or not, but I think the planet with the Sith temple is Malachor V.

Yeah dude! And Kylo Ren's saber is said to be based on one from the Scourge of Malachor, and Ezra's got a saber that looks that way, so...

And the little bit we see of the surface definitely has the feel of Malachor in KOTOR II:

    Absolutely!
The inclusion of that lightsaber is what really cinches it for me, though: that's what takes it from a planet that sure does look a lot like Malachor to almost definitely Malachor.

In ESB, Yoda is about to tell Ben something he might not be aware of yet, "No, there is another." - in ROTJ, Yoda says 'there is another Skywalker'. The subject of the two do not need to be the same. Remember, in TCW, the Force Priestess said to Yoda, 'There is another Skywalker' before Luke/Leia were born or concieved. Yoda doesn't need to be talking about someone who was already alive.

In fact, I think it could evem be made to be a reference to another hereditary line, not necessarily just another individual. A 'Second Foundation' in Asimov's terms, as backup if the Skywalkers fail to set things straight on their own.

Even in death, Yoda might know more than Obi-Wan.

And it is revealed that Vader still has that shirt. While he was doing his "errands" in the jedi temple during the purge, he took his shirt from his old locker.

I'd love it if one of the Rens led an assault and General Organa just sends a dozen stormtroopers flying.with the Force on their approach before her saber snap-hisses to life. Then she can have some pithy "You're no Jedi." "Neither are you.".exchange.

In the OT it made sense for Obi-wan to wear them as he was a hermit on a Desert planet (Luke and Owen wore them too and they weren't Jedi) and even Yoda they could get away with it on Dagobah but as the Galaxy version of the Police Force of the Government you think they would have a Uniform more appropriate to there job.

It's not really out of place to suggest Anakin came from Tatooine in the pre-PTverse given the connections to Owen & Luke. And then Yoda going hermit explains his attire too (or maybe implying he spent time on Tattooine/desert planet too and had them with him when he went to Dagobah).

He knew could start a Kylo/Cade bidding war. Kylo would want to frame the shirt, Cade would just wear it so he could match some pants.

I, for one, kinda liked the EU explanation that many species throughout the galaxy shared a basic design of simple, loose-fitting robes that inspired the Jedi uniform. Plus, they're not just "cops," they're also monks.
