Sometimes the hostility on the boards/web gets me down. I know I don't have to tell you or other PT fans about that.

I read and post in other threads too and there really is a lot of hatred for SW coming from SW fans, inexplicably.


Keep in mind that I'm a saga fan, so it never occured to me to dislike SW. Even though I'm an ancient, old person in my 30's, I still try to be positive and, I suppose, I am naive. So anyhow, thanks for clarifying. Have a rad weekend.

 

Never fear, my friend. If you enjoy it, I'm glad for it, and for whatever it's worth, never take my complaining about a Star Wars character as a dig on the saga or even the actual character. I make fun of Kenobi, like, a LOT, and I think we all know I would not kick him out of anywhere, even if he had Jedi Trainee Hair. It's always partially with affection, I promise.

I mean, I feel like it kind of comes across here anyways without me saying it, but yeah. Biiiig old showboating loudmouth. I talk loud, I laugh loud. I've tried to scale it back, with no success. I'm not even a looming physical prescence. I'm almost on the small/short side. But I am noisy.

 

Staying in more? You mean, people don't just spend 100% of their evenings and time off having jammie time in their house?!?

 

I agree. I try to keep positive about SW myself. the positives outweigh the negative in the saga for sure. I remember so many OT-fans I knew get mad over Boba Fett being a kid in AotC and being a clone and they had a different image for who he was but to me it was almost a cooler backstory GL gave him than I ever had in mind. Something SW fans dont understand is that just because something isnt how you envisioned it, doesnt mean it's terrible!

Every morning when I see all my alerts I have a momentary panic attack: "wait, what did I say? Was it something incendiary? Did I start a board war by accident?" Every time. Then it turns out it's just people liking me liking posts about hair.

What would they be?? Include titles and year they came out and write them as a Countdown. Also, when dealing with movie franchises, only include the one film you like best.
