Full Series Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

Is this speculation? I have a feeling that will all happen in the two part finale.

 

Speculation based on right episode titles, but wrong description.

 

Have the descriptions been released anywhere yet? I'm looking forward to those.

 

No, Pablo confirmed the 'leaks' were incorrect regarding descriptions. Some of the episode titles are correct, though.

That Lightsaber..... Just seeing him like that has me so excited for his return.....

I was hoping he'd still have the darksaber, although I don't remember if he had it at the end of SOD. But his new one looks nice.

 

I'm just so excited for pretty much every episode after next weeks episode, Homecoming. I mean i'm sure it will be great but it seems like after that we'll start getting some actual story.
Darth Maul, a new Inquisitor, Yoda, and Ahsoka vs Vader!

 

So is it safe to say that's how he will look in Rebels? If so, that'd be cool.

I always thought Maul looked better shirtless, anyways.

That double saber is ancient Sith; similar design to Sith blades in SWToR

 

I wish he returned with just 1 half of his original blade. I didn't mind him using a single blade in TCW and with the fact that we already have a bunch of inquisitors running around with double bladed lightsabers, like Vader Maul should use a traditional single blade.

 

Or maybe Maul still uses a two-bladed lightsaber to make the Inquisitors jelly.

Maul is top physical conditioning as always was since his build was modeled on the stuntman/martial artist that embodied the character. Plus he's not even human and has two hearts which alone in itself would allow greater feats of endurance as it could oxygenate and deliver blood twice as fast, allowing his muscles to function better. Two hearts would also allow for him to survive longer and he'd be healthier for a longer time. Coupled with the fact that he's also a Force sensitive, Sith Lord plus part Dathomirian witch. Dooku in his 70's, but no means built, just thin, was able for short periods able to fend off younger and more aggressive opponents, Sidious apparently despite being way out've shape and old, more so until it came to Windu and Yoda. Sometimes age means something, and sometimes youth does, and sometimes it does not in SW. In any case its likely they're saving money by having him shirtless, besides Ray Park wants to portray Maul again shirtless and shredded with robotic legs in a movie.

 

I am now realizing Star Wars Rebels has gone off the deep end in regards to the double-blade lightsabers. All 4 Inquisitors own double-bladed sabers, Maul has one again, There are 10 temple guards fighting the Inquisitors in the trailer and 3 fighting Kanan in the dojo assuming the ones in the dojo are not the ones fighting the Inquisitors are one point so there are about 10-13. So that means Star Wars Rebels has about somewhere from 15 to 18 double-bladed lightsaber wielding characters. Imagine how many more the show will have when the other Inquisitors show up.

At least we have Kanan and Ezra, they're Rebels. Single blade ftw!

 

This has always been my feeling with the Inquisitors. Maul should feel free to use one all he wants, but the Inquisitors come off as a bunch of Maul wannabees.

 

No, it's obvious. They can't fit 5+ lightsaber duels in one episode, and the last two are about malachor so call it a very high chance educated guess

I'm only in my forties...and is I was that buff I would walk around shirtless all the time.

 

One of the things that TCW did better was giving us darksiders that didn't always rely on a double bladed lightsaber. I remember dooku kicking ass against three opponents (while blind). Bringing Maul into Rebels was a golden opportunity to see more of the single blade. I liked how Mauls surviving half had burn marks, a scar which has history to it. It made his single blade unique compared to others. Maybe Mauls double blades lightsaber in the toy set is just there for marketing purpose. If he really is going to carry that in Rebels, at least half of it should be his repaired original half.
