What is happening to America?

 

Bernie Sanders is on the list for Trade Pacts! Economic ultranationalism!

 

America has been screwed for a long time. Take an ideologically bankrupt premise (natural rights), a form of experimental republicanism that failed elsewhere and add stubbornness so you can't admit failure, and then eschew intellectualism at every level and you get a recipe for disaster. Add firearms for additional hilarity; take away passports and any cultural empathy; add a belief in the inherent superiority of the American way (be it left, sorry, "liberal" or conservative), and subtract modern units of measurement.

Result? Ultranationalist anti-intellectual gun owners.

 

They are? The only thing they're poised to take is a record breaking trouncing in November if Trump is the nominee.

Here are his latest unfavorability ratings:

Women: 73%
Young People: 80+%
Hispanics: 75+%


As a comparative:

McCain had about a 43% unfavorability rating with women and Romney was about 44%. They both lost. Their unfavorables among the other groups were much lower than Trumps as well….and they lost.

It doesn't look good for the GOP.

Even if America's legislation was amended so someone born outside of America could have been president, i'm convinced Arnie is just too far left for American politics these days.

 

He was my governor for the better part of a decade and no, he cannot be described as "far left" even within the U.S.'s limited political spectrum. "Left" for a Republican, yes, but that's not saying much.
