    Whenever I think about that episode, I always consider one fundamental-premise-destroying question: what's the point of the Senate voting on creating more clones NOW? They're not gonna be ready for another ten years!

    Are those posters actually from the upcoming book, or just fan art? Either way, out of all the new "reference" books coming out, I think I'm looking forward to this one the most.

    Just a couple chapters into LIFE DEBT, and there's very specific references to propaganda posters. Would be some really cool synergy if some of those described in LD are presented in this book!

    I'm actually hoping they're just fan art. They look neat, but if they're real, the idea that the Empire and Rebels are having space races to determine control of Kessel and Tatooine is kind of dumb.

    It's nice fan art, but it always bugs me when supposedly in universe propaganda contains images of the top secret Death Star.

    It was top secret during construction, but it was ultimately meant to be a showcase of the Empire's power. "Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station" only works if the local systems are made aware of it. I can imagine entire offices of COMPNOR working hard at getting propaganda featuring the Death Star ready for its official launch, only for Yavin to scuttle the plans to give it a wide release.

    You're probably right, but it still seems weird to me. At least in this case it would be unusual to have the superweapon and centerpiece of the Tarkin Doctrine just casually in the background of a poster for some races in a backwater region. If the Death Star did appear in propaganda, it would probably have a whole poster to itself.

    Would it be a perfectly square poster, or a circular one? Because the usual rectangular poster proportions wouldn't serve a spherical main subject all that well...

    IIRC...in the old EU a Moff could be commander of all military assets in his sector. Could be the same thing at he Oversector level. He is technically on or the other...but holds both billets.
