OK, I really really really love the Yoda's Excellent Force Adventure episodes from TCW Season 6. I was reminded of this the other day when I grabbed screenshots.

THE DOPINESS. The whole Anakin-and-Obi-Wan-Explain-Away-Mortis thing. (EVEN IF THEY THOUGHT IT WAS AN "ILLUSION" -- DOES THAT WHOLE CRAZYPANTS ARC NOT BOTHER THEM AT ALL??! DUDES. You'd think Anakin might put some stock in Foreboding Visions, at least. LOL. Those two win the First Annual Star Wars Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Obliviousness.)

Also: the Jedi Council Meditation Marathon. WTF. Is the implication that THEY ALL STOOD LIKE THAT OVERNIGHT? No one ever had to pee?! Some of those people are older, and they've all been fighting in a damn war for years, jumping out of spaceships and getting shot at and kidnapped and hung upside down -- they all really stood there hunched over Yoda for like 12 hours and no one was like "sorry, my back can't handle this anymore"?!

...I think I know what I'm recapping next.

 

I maintain that Star Wars needed FAR more Drunk Kenobi than we got.

 

One more thing about that TCW arc. This line makes me laugh AND feel sad.

Yep -- can't blame a guy just because his apprentice turned out evil, Kenobes. Good point.

 

Maybe when we have the Kenobi movie.

I'd watch a movie that's just Drunk Kenobi complaining about his terrible life and posing handsomely.
