Random thought; I wonder how much more detailed ( if at all) Jar Jar would be with today's CGI.

I mean I think he was pretty good for 1999

 

He was revolutionary for 1999. I was there, trust me. I remember my parents' friends talking about how you had to go see the movie "with a character that isn't even real!"

Why is Conjuring 2 67% and Xmen 47%?

 

I saw the trailer for that on TV, couldn't stop laughing, the guy looks like the main Zombie in Scooby Doo!
The spinning crucifixs!

I thought to myself, man an actual horror Scooby Doo film would be actually pretty scary.

(Yes I am a big fan of Scooby Doo)


I don't really like horror movies-what's the point?
To be scared because of shocks? Or to be scared by what happens?

A few I've watched:
-"Attractive" Hollywood guy EDIT, no idea what this film was!
It was definitely by Hammer Horror though, I thought it was Gerard Butler who was in it but really not sure.
Anyway the guy comes out of prison or something and goes back to his house-it has been closed due to safety because his family were all killed there. He goes in, has weird flashbacks and we realise he was the killer.
It was pretty terrible and boring.

-Again the same damn guy but this time he plays a stalker who becomes romantically involved with Hilary (SOMETHING) Swank apparently! Anyway the flat she lives in is pretty crap and their are passages behind the walls which the guy uses to spy on Hilary in bed/ and in the bath. Cue weird scenes.
He eventually creeps in, rapes her and leaves but she notices in the morning. The next day they have a huge fight and it becomes a sorta comedy with electric knives being used, nail launchers, other DIY equipment. She kills him with a staple gun I think to the chest and head.



I do want to see that new one with Natalie Dormer. Stay on the path? Don't leave the path?
Something about a haunted forest in Japan.
Really the shower scene looked the best in the trailer.

 

Looks like waiting paid off.
Aftermath paperback is £4 on Amazon.co.uk.

The date for Bloodline's paperback is December? It will likely come forward though.
I think I have enough books to wait it out,
