Y'know I recently realized, as I was just randomly thinking about Jawas, that the last live action film shot of a Jawa (and it's legitimately only a single shot) is in Attack of the Clones when Anakin is searching for Shimi and there's a profile shot of a Jawa pointing in a direction. That was in 2002! That's it! There's been a renaissance of Star Wars but none of that has apparently involved Jawas.
I said "live action" because I can't remember if there's any Jawas in The Clone Wars but if there aren't, it might be even longer!
Jawas are an underrated but important part of Star Wars. The Saga would not be the same without them. So sign me up, and let's give the Jawas some love. Did y'all know there's a theory that Maz Kanata is a Jawa?
Untinni's unite!!! But beware spoilers! However! Spoiler http://www.theforce.net/story/front..._Spotted_On_Set_Of_The_Mandalorian_182579.asp Jawas spotted on the set of The Mandalorian! We haven't had live action Jawas since Attack of the Clones! Our long nightmare is almost over!
Theory: Jawa Juice is not made from Jawas, as some comedians would suggest, but by Jawas. It is called something different in Jawaese, but that name is difficult to pronounce, so most people just call it Jawa Juice.
"Jawa juice" was always a weird little reference. Sounded more like a dorky IRL SW tie-in than something that should really be "in" SW. Like Skywalker Salad or Chewbacca Chimichangas.
@Cowgirl Jedi 1701 it makes perfect sense. I think it would be rather cool to see Jawa's in future film/tv material but possibly appearing on a different planet from Tatooine? Imagine JUNGLE JAWAS!!??
