So how do you think about Valkorion's idea of the "peace and harmony over the reign of the emperor"overall? Do you agree with it?

It depends on the Emperor or the Empress - their character, talents and goals.

I don't even consider it legends anymore. It has branched off into its own separate universe. I feel it's a mistake to link an mmo story universe with a universe that is primarily film based. As has happened with SWTOR, the universe becomes bloated with more and more powerful bad guys and events, which totally lessen the scale of what is seen in the films. It's not good for Star Wars fans that have absolutely no interest in an mmo.

Sidious is still top top in a story involving Caedus, Abeloth, Krayt and Vitiate in my eyes.

Actually as a MMO SWTOR did fine, over the 5 years it only has 3 major bad groups, the Dread Masters, Revan and Vitiate/his family. Few of them popped from nowhere.

Didn't we get confirmation that SWTOR was it's own thing now?

Didn't they mention that they didn't have to link up to the New Sith Wars and Bane and all that?

I still see it as legends and I still think it works more and more.

I see the official union of the Republic and Empire and then it works that the Republic then have Imperial style ships later on.

In my view that's where we are heading and....

Depending on how much goodwill the Republic has and if the character has a change of heart, I can see the Sith Emperor Acina doing it.

A little drastic but from what I've heard she's level headed so there's a possibility.

We have until 3500 BBY until our next Sith Lord is active. Even then Utapau was taken by the Empire so it could still be of that Empire.

Similarly the Paecian Empire could be Sith, and the Sith tribes that Phobos warred against could be the Empire again, invigorated.

A merger would explain how Imperial designs and Moffs crossover though.

In fact you could do that all, have the union happen and then major Sith/minor Sith (not really sure how many sith are actually still in play now) can revolt and either go into hiding or start amassing armies/planets.

That would be compelling and something that could work for a big base game type expansion for Swtor or another game.

The Legends is over, I don't see a reason for SWTOR to stick with it anymore.

It definitely does. We have three relatively active Dark Lords of the Sith between 3500 BBY and 2000 BBY, with references to Sith ruling from Korriban, and tribes for Ruin to reunify.

Who is to say that the Paecian Empire that collapsed in 2992 BBY was not a Sith one? Who is to say that the Centrality was not founded by the Sorcerors of Tund as a political front for their activities in 3300 BBY? That continuing Sith relayed instability is the reason for the Hapans shut their borders in 3100 BBY? That Alsakan's last Conflict in 3017 BBY was a last effort by a Sith remnant that pervaded in a Alsakani government which were corrupted by the legacy of the Killik Sith Lord of 30,000 BBY? In 2132 BBY, the Breathing erases all children under the age of 8 using a plague. That sounds fairly malicious. Sith? Maybe, maybe not.

    Plenty to Sith either way.

No, the Legends universe has ended and Disney doesn't care about it anymore, SWTOR could do whatever it wants as long as Disney say yes.

So it's like the Silmarillion to the Lord of the Rings.

To be fair, "the universe becomes bloated with more and more powerful bad guys and events" fits the post RotJ Legends much better.

Huh, they're going to release a new cinematic trailer on October 7, presumably as part of the KotET announcement. After no E3 news, I didn't expect them to have another one lined up. Well, even with my interest in the game dwindling, it'll be nice to get one more epic trailer out of swtor.

I think it was Vitiate in his childhood.

That's true too, Of course there are other parts of the Legends EU that I don't like and just ignore. But that's usually because they are just terrible books.

Looks more like Arcann, but I hope we see Vitiate as a child.

We saw Arcann as a child in the last cinematic trailer. He didn't look anything like that, except for the buzz-cut.

The child must be the same character from this artwork (both seems to have some marks/tattoos):

Can't be Arcann since he has lost his arm during the battle of Korriban.
