The Clone Wars episode "Corruption" aired on this day in Star Wars history.

Also that's sucks Darkslayer

 

Corruption, the episode where Padme and Satine team up to solve the mystery of the poisoned school tea, sold in bottles, caused by tall Egyptian-esque reptiles.

You can't make this stuff up.

 

Sorry that I've missed a lot....

Just having a rough end of the year...

 

I loved writing the recap for this one SO. MUCH.

Filoni: "Hey I've got an idea let's have an episode where Padme and Satine get to solve a mystery and set **** on fire and the guys just stay home and braid each other's hair probably."
Writers: "Can the girls drink martinis at some point?"
Filoni: "I already said Satine was going to be in it, didn't I? Now let's get to work, people."

 

I also love how Satine burns down the warehouse full of evidence, completely ignoring the advice of the police chief.

It's no wonder than the smugglers are still on the streets in The Lawless, seeing as how all the evidence of their wrongdoing went up in smoke.

 

LOL I KNOW. I actually had a rant about that that I edited out because I felt like it was already getting too long but YES. She's just like "...I SAID TORCH IT" and I was like "friend, are you SURE you don't want to, oh, keep any of this evidence?!"

Obi-Wan sure had a lot of impulsive hothead friends.

 

I feel bad for you because they haven't won in 100+ years

 

I HATE WRITING. SO MUCH. And why are there so many different citation formats????!!!!
The people that made them up must have NO LIFE; why oh why can't there just be one universal format to make life easier?!

Also the internet makes things both easier & harder when doing research. Easier, as its all right there at your fingertips. Harder, as lots of archival stuff still hasn't been put online & thus is only accessible in person, & I'm not going out of my way for this.

On a happy note Rebels is tonight. I'm so excited for it, more of Sabine & we get Wedge! YIPPEE!!!!!

lol you're too right though its not like there's much going on between her and Ezra thus far from what I gather, so why not?

 

Valency Jane I agree. Citing sources was one of my least favorite things. I never understood the point of having a million different way to write sources. Its so very annoying. I mean does it really matter how you cite as long as people know you used something as a source. I saw one way would be best

And I'm also excited for Rebels tonight!

 

God I am so glad I don't have to write Real Papers anymore. (Note: my major and minor were both sciences, and while I love language and love to write, it was never a favorite. That said, I am also glad I do not have to write lab reports anymore either. And if it helps, kids, I did put in my time so someday you'll get to be a Lazy Old like me too. )

 

I think a fair deal of this thread ships Obikin (Or is it Aniwan?) and also maybe Kylux

 

I don't ship Kylux, per se, I've just stated that it's obviously inevitable. I mean, for real. LOOK AT THEM.

I like writing, but only if I'm allowed to write by my rules, which formal writing, like Research papers, doesn't usually allow. I'll join you on disliking those; maybe not hating though, that's a bit of a strong word.
