I think so. The coloring looks very Scarif-y, but the architecture and troops are what we have seen on Jedha.
The robotic machine on top reminds me of a more massive and potentially more devastating version of the iconic ED-209 from the original Robocop movie, don't you think so... Yet another cool vehicle to add to my collection! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another clue that the AT-STs are on Jedha is that there are standard TIE fighters in the sky. It seems as though each of those Imperial Transports has an escort of two standard TIE fighters. I'm guessing that the TIE Strikers on Scarif will be land based.
That picture looks like something out of Call of Duty, Sniper Elite, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, or Quake (for something more extreme ), with the presence of the Stormtroopers giving the obvious Star Wars hint... No wonder the Disney guys were saying that Rogue One is more of a war movie than one following the Good-vs-Evil, Yin Yang storyline of the seven "main-line" movies!
I was originally going to argue with you about that. Now the more I look at it the more I question it. So thanks for that
It's nice to see the ATST finally return in an urban warfare setting. The SW site describes the city having been in a prolonged battle, so naturally the empire has a lot of backup there. The perfect opportunity to showcase a wide variety of landbased vehicles in action. This should be good.
Seems like there is no Imperial Troop transport in the movie after all and they have rejigged the TFA Troop Transport as the forward personnel compartment for the four-winged Cargo Shuttle. That will be the beast that Bodhi pilots.
So there are going to be speeder bikes in Rogue One? http://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2016...-exclusives-rogue-one-packaging-utilized.html
I know this is being picky - But I really hope we see the same kind of pilot/driver outfits for all the OT based vehicles
Well, so I have finally bought five different models of the cool new vehicles of Rogue One, all of which are in my car... And seems like the Empire always ends up with the potentially-iconic ones - including Krennic's Shuttle, TIE Striker, and the unfortunate SW-0608 (which we see get blown up in the trailer)! Our heroes do have nice vehicles too - especially that interesting U-Wing with the 180-degree retractable twin "nose"... And the already legendary X-Wing, doing battle with their perpetual enemies, the TIE Fighters! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Although I'm sure this is wishful thinking.. If I had my say .. these are some ships I would like to see in Rogue One Squadron of Z-95 Headhunters... at least 2 Victory Class Star Destroyers seen in action and formation Some converted C90 (gunships) or DP20s in action against Ties.... Converted Neutron Star cruisers (converted to carry fighters) Dreadnaught class Heavy cruisers
My anticipation for that book has now got even higher! Luceno is the current king of legends recanonisation .
