A preview of Kenobi's power level when Maul meets up with him....

:bluesaber::obiwan: Really, it makes me yearn for a full blown Kenobi stand alone film.

Great, great trailer. I liked the early tease of Obi-Wan before diving into the meatier stuff, and of course the hints of things to come on Mandalore were pretty great too. And poor Kallus, his time with the Empire, and possibly among the living, seems to be coming to an end.
I mean, the Obi-Wan stuff was limited to the very beginning and very end of the trailer, whereas there was a significant amount of material that points right to the Alliance's formation, including a major confrontation with Thrawn. So I mean, it's right there, and even in the show up to now there's always been more focus on issues of rebellion than whatever Jedi issues are going on with Ezra or Kanan. This second half of the season is looking to really live up to the show's title of Rebels in the most fulfilling manner possible.

And something IIRC Filoni has promised since the beginning of the show, and we've been waiting for two and half seasons to see. I'm thinking with Thrawn around, that this payoff will be worth the wait and Kenobi and Maul is just the icing on the cake.

Right after Kenobi's pose he falls to the floor suffering a paralysis in his right leg from the cold desert night and his bones give out from arthritis and collapses. Maul then gives off a Sith scream that he came all the way from Malachor for this. Maul will be fine, he's a destroyer and unstoppable since TPM. I'd rather see Maul and Kenobi kill Sand People and Krayt dragon. [face_clown]

I liked Galen Marek. His story was a good one. Raised in darkness, he found the strength inside himself to turn against everything he had been taught and took a long, difficult journey out of the shadows into the light. And in the light, he faced the Sith and he fell nobly, protecting the Rebel Alliance he helped forge. All Legends of course ;)

I didn't see it that way. I just saw it as Thrawn keeping in shape so he can handle himself in a fight if he has to. Of course he likely won't plan on getting up close and personal, but in his mind, it's probably better to be prepared just in case he's ever forced into such a situation. Besides, I find the idea of getting a scene of an imperial officer going through his morning fitness regime to be hilarious.

Was that Ketsu that the stormtroopers had in the trailer? I think that was the coloring of her helmet. Maybe that's how they find out about Atollon

And I think she would be older now than Padme was in TPM.

Just realized that since the Empire will probably be attacking Atallon, Bendu might move to a different planet, or we may see his eventual death.

Sabine could play as a warrior ruler, provided its made clear she's more the catalyst and uniting figurehead for an Anti-Imperial power bloc. Sabine looks to be duking it out with Saxon in a lightsaber duel on a frozen lake (very Kurosawa), which could lead to her killing the Empire's representative, she seems to get Rau's fealty, and thus the tradition of the Protectors, and if she can get the support of her mother's clan and maybe Bo-Katan's crew, she's at least get a nascent government in exile. In a martial society, sometime sporting yourself a top dog in that one area will attract the people who can cover the other elements of rule.

If she does become Mandalore she should be called Mandalore the uniter.

If she become Mandalore, then she should be active (not necessarily as Mandalore but as a leader) just as long as Han, Leia, and Luke are/were...

And that would include seeing the First Order rise. Sabine basically serves the role of Mandalorian Leia if she manages to form a Rebel-friendly power-bloc.

    Finally the trailer!!!

It was amazing, I love love the fact that it's finally coming together with R1/ANH, I love that they're getting together.

I'm fine with Mail and Obi-Wan and I don't think that he will kill him, I'm sure that they will start fighting or something but What Maul wants is help and hope, so he wants an ally to defeat the Emperor, obviously Ben is not gonna support him.

Now I fear one thing, it looks like Ezra will meet Ben but I'm afraid of that because it would be stretching it too much, the fact that Ben knows of his existence and doesn't mention him in ANH.

Also I'm afraid for Kanan, Sabine, Ezra meeting Mon Monthma/Bail (again) because why didn't they mention them for help to get in touch with Saw or to deliver the info to Ben in place of Leia?

Season 4 it's going to be nuts.

I love Ezra's cheesy 1950's pulp sci-fi space suit. It looks like something out of pre-war Fallout. In other words, its awesome.

I'm glad Thrawn seems to be hurting the rebellion in the trailer. But before he is defeated, besides damaging the rebel fleet, he should permentaly hurt the ghost crew. By involved in cutting a boy's life short. Doesn't need to be graphic. Ezra's ship can simply be blown up. The end of Ezra this season by Thrawn would further leave a lasting mark that would influence season 4. Some might say this shouldn't happen since it's a kid show, but this show has gotten more
Mature and Ezra Older compared to season 1. I think Rebels could tackle this subject while not getting to dark.

No, after he kills Maul Obi-Wan will say: "I'm getting too old for this sort of thing".
