well I was right, kept telling people that Emilia Clarke was just one casting. They never officially released the entire cast. And that it seemed like they were looking for more than just 1 female too. So there is your female diversity in a SW.

she's currently 44 years old. I doubt she has that big of an age gap with Han and Lando for her to be Sana.

Yes, she can be a smuggler who has experience in this job. I doubt we'll see force user or Jedi in this movie because of Han's comments on ANH

Han's wife in the new canon is black. I was thinking she could be Han's love interest, until I saw she was 44.

I have always liked her and also have found her to be very attractive. The first role I saw her in was Mission Impossible 2 (underrated film IMO).

 

She's really good, so if this happens then great. Hopefully it's a big/important role.

we don't know if it's secondary, there could be more than 1 major role. The point was that there was tons of complaint about the lack of female diversity in SW,. Even though you have Tran in VIII and now supposedly Thandie in Han.

 

Well they've got ONE, so that's a start. Still nowhere near good enough, we'll see if it continues.

 

Initially I thought maybe she's gonna play Rae Sloane, but she's too old for the role at this point in the timeline. It'd be cool for her to play a villain of some kind though.

I'd be way into this. Newton was my favorite character in Westworld.

 

She also has presence on that show and can be intimidating when she wants/needs to be as well. And given that:

Slave Leia was, meh. But there was at least a specific point/reason for it. Usually, there isn't even that much.

 

I almost hope they do just to trigger SJWs.
