I feel like there's another Maul/Sidious confrontation left in the story. There's a whole boatload of father/son issues waiting to be explored between those two, and then Vader's role in things.

As much as I want it to happen, I want to see Obi-Wan end Maul's story. It's a pick-and-choose situation, either you have Vader kill Maul or Obi-Wan kill Maul.

I think they missed an opportunity by not calling this episode "Old Wounds". That would've been a nice EU nod.

Oh yeah, I knew that, but it's clear that the inspiration is coming from that short story.

And, [face_laugh], I'm sick in bed so I don't have much else to do.

Could anyone please link the video ? I'm fairly certain that she said that she had scenes with Maul/Sam in the video but I've forgotten the name of it

I would like to see Obi-Wan kill Maul too, but I would be fine with Vader doing it. In my opinion, the more Vader kick-buttery, the better.

Seems you were right, kinda disappointing tho. I wanted Maul to interact with some Death Watch Mandos before he dies

I think they could absolutely have Obi-Wan or Vader kill him, but I don't think the character's end is limited to those two. There's a possibility, however remote, that they go all out and have Sidious personally get involved with Maul's storyline and really close the book on the character's life and arc by having him face the guy who effectively made him.

The thing is just like Ahsoka is no longer a Jedi, Maul is no longer a Sith so that might be a loophole for them to keep him alive even if I don't like it.

I'm doing a rewatch of season 3 at the moment. People complaining about Dark Ezra being abandoned should really watch the S3 premiere again- Ezra clearly understands his faults by the end of the episode, and for good reason. His mission lost the Phantom and was a general disaster, and Kanan came back into his life. Why would Ezra keep listening to the Holocron after he sees the consequences of his actions?

I used to be in the "Dark Ezra is a forgotten plot" boat, but it was already perfectly resolved.

My issue with the Dark Ezra plot was how it was resolved right away in the first two episodes of Season 3, instead of being an overarching issue throughout the season like I had thought it was going to be after watching the season 2 finale. I felt like the finale played up the whole issue with Ezra listening to the holocron as something that was going to be a big thing throughout the next season but after the first two episodes Ezra was...kinda back to his old self again. I wish they showed it more instead of just telling us it was this issue that divided Kanan and Ezra and just showing us what got them back on good terms again. Had the same issue with Kanan's blindness, which was explored amazingly in the first two episodes and then the episodes after that he goes back moving around and doing proper head motions as though he wasn't blind at all.

Man, this wait is killing me. I don't know if I can go another 8 days without any new Star Wars stuff to feed my fandom.

It's still not enough for me. [face_laugh]

I too thought it would be an overarching plot that could've had huge potential. I think it'll be brought up again, and they're just trying to make his fall-from-grace seem naturally paced. Kanan's lack-of-blindness is ridiculous. You could make him have his vision again and not a thing would change from ep2 onwards. It would've been a great opportunity for them to bring in Inquisitor Jerec from the old EU as a foil for Kanan.

I would absolutely love seeing Jerec in Rebels!! He was my favorite Inquisitor in the old canon, and was very powerful and quite a demanding challenge to overcome. Plus he had history with many interesting characters of the old canon, including Thrawn. I see him showing up in Rebels a bit unlikely, but it could be done in wonderful ways if they ever set their minds into it...

I to want to see more of the darkside and Ezra plot.

In fact him falling to the darkness would make an excellent season 3 finale.

Thrawn could not only hurt the rebel fleet, but his actions lead to the death of a ghost crew. Either Zeb or Kanan (preferably Kanan). The want for revenge clouds Ezra's mind, and he becomes a dark jedi. Be even better if Thrawn doesn't die. Dark Ezra now has a man he will try to kill for "justice".

Unfortunately I predictable that nothing bad will happen to the crew themselves. Sure rebels will die, but none of the main cast will get hurt in the season finale.

It does make me wish that the story of Rebels instead put into comic format. A comic series would have more liberty to allow certain things that the show avoids.

StarWarsFan91, Have you read Kanan: The Last Padawan? It's a great read and a look at comic-form Rebels.
