She already never used her chrome gun onscreen. So now she'll never use her chrome spear?

 

Some of my friends and I actually thought she died with Star Killer Base, since we never saw her again after the "trash compactor" line. I wonder if there will be any mention in TLJ how she got out. Maybe she hid inside an old refrigerator.

 

well we never saw either Hux or Kylo get out either.

 

True, but at least we knew that Hux was going to go get Ren and take him to Snoke.
How Hux found Ren in the middle of a collapsing forest is the question, though...

I imagine when she bumps into Finn again, Phasma will explain all the details as she proceeds to give him an epic beat down. Very excited for her character and the coming showdown with Finn!

 

I hope she actually gets to use her weapon for more than like 2 seconds this time around.

 

Or at all. At all would be nice.

 

I get the feeling they created her to be the equivalent of the original trilogy joke that is Boba Fett. Build him up as this grand character then end the character in a bleak way.

 

It's probably been mentioned before, but does anyone think that she might die in TLJ? She wasn't used very well in TFA, and quite frankly I'm not very interested in seeing her character show up again in IX. Add to that that little rumor from months ago about Finn cutting off her arm, and I don't see him wanting to let her survive unless she's captured going into episode IX. Idk why, but I'd like to see Finn just kill her. Maybe out of revenge for what she's done. Before though, I'd like to see her be more of a threat to the characters, and I'd like to see her and Finn have an actual fight.

 

None of the named villains died in TFA, which is a first since ESB.

So we'll probably lose villains this time around.

 

Admiral Ozzel died in ESB. So did Captain Needa.

so Finn fights Phasma's spear with an Axe.
LOL, this really is becoming more and more, Medieval times. Axes, spears, swords, Knights, and Evil Empires.

 

Seems to me they had a chance to show off Phasma. Is there a reason she couldn't have been the one to fight Finn outside of Maz's castle instead of the traitor stormtrooper guy? Why have a random stormtrooper kick Finn's behind? Then instead of getting shot like a chump, she would have been aware of Han & Chewie approaching and she would made evasive maneuvers to escape or something like that. Fett-style.

 

TFA was not kind to this character...i wonder if TLJ will finally make her interesting. im a bit skeptical. The film must erase the memory of this terrible scene where she shut down the shield! Or her doing nothing.

 

I figure they'll take advantage of her fight training from Got. There's a reason she's the leader of the pack, and seeing as Finn had a hard enough time fighting that regular trooper, I'm betting she's double trouble.

 

This made me lol.

 

A failed female boaba fett, in my opinion. She wasn't as likable, nor as mysterious as the fett. Thrown away like garbage...Finn and Han might as well said to her " Who's your daddy!? Who's your daddy!? Phasma!?"

They've already ruined her character, good luck saving face now and making her cool... She didn't even put up a real fight.
